Temmythourpe19:I’m not familiar with Germany processes but for Finland this is how to get your RP & i believe it might cover you for your Germany studies( The most important is for you to start your studies & you will figure the remaining out later. 1. To prove your means of sustainability as a student in Finland , you can use a sponsor that will deposit an equivalent of 6720 Euros (560 Euros per month X 12 months for a year RP) in Naira into your Nigerian bank account. The money has to be there for the duration of your application & you can remove it apply you get your RP. The sponsor might be anybody you know not necessary your family but he/she must have a good Statement of Account (SOA) because the sponsors SOA will be submitted also at the point of RP application. 2. To legalize your documents, go to any court in Nigeria for Certify True Copy stamp on the photocopies of your credentials ( you must go with the original for them to see it) Documents to be legalized Photocopies of all credential, IELTS result, passport data page ,birth certificate and relevant documents Check the last 2 pages for my comments on this with picture 3. Finland gives Residence Permit (RP)for study not visa. For you to apply for RP,application is done online through https://enterfinland.fi/eServices where you will upload all your documents . After that, you will apply for biometric & documents submission at VFS global in Abuja before the will give you appointment date to Finland Embassy in Abuja for interview. The interview is less than 10 minutes . |

Alfred2000:As a student that doesn't have degree , the type of job you will get is manual related jobs like working in supermarket , trashing waste bins at train stops, Newspaper distributor in early hours of the day , cleaning of offices among others. Most of these jobs are done within 2 to 3 hours. You will earn a decent pay that will be able to cater for your house rents, bills & welfare. Mind you house rent is paid monthly & it ranges from 100k & above . Dont ever have the mind of making it quickly if you get there but you will be okay & live a decent life for someone that is still in school . My advice |

femmoy:We can learn how to be civil here.. If you think an information given is misleading, you can always express a correction in a very subtle and matured tone. There is nothing wrong in saying; "From my experience, I am sure (if you are 100% sure) the Finland embassy does not require a certified copy of your documents" and probably follow up with prove. No one is an island. I read from here "https://naijagoingabroad.com/apply-finland-student-visa-nigeria/" and it says a legalized document is important. |

Zpdzpd:There are other vocational schools in Finland though they have different requirements like you coming to Finland for your interview before you are admitted. You can check out Helsinki business college, they are conducting interviews on Skype for now due to Coronavirus. |

Temmythourpe19:You don't need to legalise any document for Finland. Don't waste your time and money |

femmoy:Please calm down, all information i have given is about Vamia vocational Institute which i’m familiar with. I think the issue is you didn't go through the previous post . Kindly go through the below link and see for yourself the application period. Thank God someone is filling the form right now on this platform. It was because of the issue they had with the website this January,2021 that they added the extra 12 days. https://vamia.fi/en/ On Legalization of documents , i called it Certify True Copy & the cost is like 3k. Is that wasting of money ? |

| Re: Studying In Finland (free Tuition) by oak202: 6:31pm On Jan 16, 2021 |
femmoy:I can see you didn't read my last post before you posted this message which i said all your certified documents have to be uploaded on https://enterfinland.fi/eServices/account/login To God be the glory, i have 3 junior ones in Finland and one has gotten his passport last year. Mind you i’m a Senior level officer with Lagos State Government before you ask me what i’m doing in Nigeria. Any information i put out here is through my experience because i personally assisted them through the processes. I will soon share testimony of 2 other people here very soon because one of them had done his biometric at VFS,Abuja on Tuesday & interview at Finnish Embassy , Abuja on Wednesday. I might not know about any other school process in Finland but for Vamia Vocational School, do not doubt my information. God bless you |
