Hi Frankrobbn1,

Happy new year to you, trust you are doing great?

About this EE, can someone use Work Experience of Two Different NOC to enter the pool or it's strictly One NOC

E.g

Combination of the two Work Experience below

Air Traffic Controller - 1 year Work Experience
Retail Manager - 1 year Work Experience

Thanks.

Hi my buddy @Lekiboboe. I'm doing very good thanks for asking. I trust you're well and keeping safe too.

To answer your question, you need to have a primary NOC to gain points in the FSW. Claiming points with two different NOC's could raise the eyebrows of the visa officer. As a consequence, the immigration program analyst who is responsible for the initial R10 check will place your application on - Recommended Interview or Review Required, due to such discrepancies.

I wouldn't want to derail the thread as I know the language is quiet different from study permit application grin grin . In a nutshell, stick to one NOC if you want to dive into the EE pool.

Please y’all if you know any school that takes 2.2 ARCHITECTURE for MSc, please let me know.

None is available. You need a Minimum of 2.1 to apply for an M.SC in Architecture

Your best alternative is a PG. Cert in an Architecture Related program in Colleges

See this

PG. Cert in Green Architecture
Algonquin College, Ottawa

I don’t know what to do . Everyday I wake up expecting a positive message from IRCC yet nothing. Submitted since October. NSE message 25th November, submited NSE requirement since December 3rd. Eligibility review since 5th and since then no response from IRCC. The wait and suspense is draining.

Contact the IRCC office in Nairobi Via Webform to inquire about the status and finalization of your application.

Abigirl03:
Hello Everyone,

My brother was refused in October 2020 based on:
A. Family ties in Canada and country of residence
B. Purpose of visit

Background:
He applied for a graduate certificate course in Data Analysis which is different from his first degree - Science Lab. Tech ( I got to know this is not really a career progression after joining this thread).

His sponsor who is also a family member is based in Canada, which explains the first reason for refusal.

My Question:
1. We want to reapply again for admission and the visa again, should he apply for the same Data Analysis course again? If yes, how do we tackle the career progression problem? If he applies for a course related to his first degree, how do we justify the change in course of study?

2. His family member in Canada would still want to be his sponsor especially with this NSE $30K POF. How can we also respond to this?

We already have the GCMS Notes.

Awaiting your insightful responses.
Thank you all

P.S. @Frankrobbin Please I'll like to connect with you, I sent you a request.

I regret to hear your brother's study visa application to Canada was refused by the immigration of Canada.

As you rightly said, there is no career progression for his chosen course of study. His best move for success is to secure admission into a program that is related to his first degree in Science Lab. Tech. More so, he should be sure to apply for a level of education that suits his profile. For instance, if he graduated with a 2.1, he should be going for a Master's program in Science Lab. Tech. On the other hand, if he finished with a 2.2, then a post graudate certificate program will fit in. Please be advised that he doesn't need much justification since he will be going for a program that is relevant with his previous studies.

Who is this family member please? Can you be explicit? Is the family member his parents or siblings? His relationship with his sponsor also plays a major part in demonstrating his ability to gain access to the funds in the sponsor's account. Given that his sponsor resides abroad, he should explain briefly that his sponsor is unable to provide him with a mybank statement certificate as he is resident in Canada.

I hope this information satisfies your inquiry.

For the NSE route, is $30,000 CAD sufficient proof of funds for a self-sponsored student going for a 2 year program with 1 year tuition at $25,000 CAD and 1 year living expense at $11,000. CAD?
It’s kinda confusing.

The above figures are not sufficient. Being self-sponsored, you must show proof of funds for the entire duration of your studies without working to pay for your fees in Canada.

But pls can one submit it as just part of the documents not necessarily as a POF

You can add Treasury Bill Certificate as a subordinate POF.

Can we upload the generated checklist and submit as part of application?

The document checklist will be generated after answering all the online questionnaire. There is no separate document for it.

Thanks for the reply.

I need to ask another question pls.

For example, will there be problem in a situation whereby the money i that I have received and transfere to people in my account is more than the money my sponsor have received and transferred to people?

I normally do transfer of money for my brother that sells spear parts and my sponsor who is my father is a civil servant.

Frankrobbn1:

Either of the two is acceptable. In essence, it can be in your account if you're self-sponsored or in your sponsor's account in the case that you're being sponsored.

Hello,

The NSE route is not mandatory for any study permit application.
It's completely optional.

It doesn't matter if you've a greater influx of money into your account than your sponsor. Although, your father should have a closing balance that is higher than yours. This makes him capable of sponsoring your studies abroad.
