Please can one use Piggyvest statement as proof of funds? Also, has anyone here used Piggyvest statement for student visa application.

For financial evidence for student and child student route applicant

The following are not accepted as evidence to show you have the required amount of money:
overdrafts
bitcoin savings
stocks and shares
pensions
bank accounts that are not regulated by the financial regulatory body in the country you’re applying from
bank accounts that don’t use electronic record keeping

Piggyvest is regulated by central bank of Nigeria and has a microfinance bank.

You won't be uploading any files before payment. It comes in stages, once you are done filling the application form, you will be directed to make payment for your IHS and afterwards, visa payment. Once done, you will then proceed to TLS platform through the same platform for visa application, it will redirect you to the TLS where you will then proceed to book your biometric appointment. If you choose self-service, then you will be required to upload your documents yourself.

Piggyvest says that they acquired a MFB (Gold MFB) licence in 2018; if this is true and they operate Piggyvest under that brand, then yes, they are legally licenced by CBN. Gold MFB is listed on CBN site as a licenced operating MFB. You might have to submit a screenshot of this to avoid getting refused in error if they are truly licenced and piggyvest is a product offering of Gold MFB.

Pls confirm from them or anyone who's used them because I don't know much about them aside from what's on their website.

In my opinion, you'll be better off using a regular bank account to avoid stories that touch.

If u have time, move ur money to a commercial bank and count 28days.

Piggyvest is not a bank. Its a business operated with the statutory requirement of being affiliated with a bank based on cbn regulation that forbids any business to transact in money related activities without being registered as a bank with cbn.

Pls I need assistance, my husband's (dependent) visa arrived Friday. I really didn't look at it. Right now I am trying to book our flight o, only for me to see no work, no business written on it. Pls I don't understand why its stated so. Pls can someone tell me how to correct this because I believe this is an error and is any one with an adult dependent have this on their passport?

Someone else had this issue recently..... looks like the quality control on visa issues is slipping and some are issued with errors.

You have to contact UKVi either now or after travel to correct it. I am too lazy now to find the link but recall posting it on a comment
