Please can a fixed deposit account be used when applying for Uk student visa? Like your parents fixed deposit account? Can it be used as proof of funds too? Like the bank statement printed from the account and submitted for visa application.

Please what's the cheapest way to pay school fees from Nigeria? (I'm in the UK so unable to fill a form A). Can paga be used? I need a relatively cost effective exchange rate cos GTB milked me the last time.

yes, he can collect it, give him the slip they gave you after your biometrics, let him also go with a means of identification and your marriage certificate.

I assume you must have gotten collection mail.

Please can one use Piggyvest statement as proof of funds? Also, has anyone here used Piggyvest statement for student visa application.

For financial evidence for student and child student route applicant

The following are not accepted as evidence to show you have the required amount of money:
overdrafts
bitcoin savings
stocks and shares
pensions
bank accounts that are not regulated by the financial regulatory body in the country you’re applying from
bank accounts that don’t use electronic record keeping

Piggyvest is regulated by central bank of Nigeria and has a microfinance bank.
@mimilyric and other gurus please i need your insight on this.

I wanna ask something that might sound foolish or insensible, pls don't be offended...

For those who has gotten their visa or are currently self sponsoring their schooling...

How do you guys pay for your tuition fees and the same time focus on study?? Like the money is so huge and you also have accommodation and all to take care of?

I got admission but I am actually scared because I will be the one sponsoring my education and all... I am 18 thanks.

Be expecting an interview mail. Not hard at all you would scale through. Probably they might not understand some part of your application.

I just discover that I wrote 18951 pounds instead of 18950 pounds that was in CAS during my visa application, pls house should I be worried becos I have submitted and I can’t correct it again
