Prepaid meter . I use like 2500 or less monthly. Why? We rarely have electricity.
There was a time I used 2k for 3months we only had electricity for like 6 days in 3 months

If you hate this Government and love the one before it, you all are zombies. No Government has treated Nigerians nicely. Jonathan was daft same as this clueless mugu. If you want to destroy a country, don't waste bomb on it; give them a bad leader.

There was a protest that turned into violence at Kafanchan District of Kaduna Electric today. One life was lost and others in the hospital while the company lost vehicles and office properties.

The problems were outrageous billing and a 1new manager that reduced the power supply to the town.

I wonder what happened to the energy capping that NERC introduced last year April.

Youths should start considering how to organize another protest against these crazy bills they keep bringing maybe then they will seat up and do the needful...

Only that most people rely on the "I hear say you go pay but no meter".

But that shouldn't be the case anymore.

Mumu. No be people like you encouraged Jonathan and PDP to sell power sector to himself and his cronies? It's no more PHCN or NEPA, it is now EKEDP, IBEDC, and so on which means Elemelu, Abdulsalam, Adeleke and so on. You just need to wake up to reality.

Basic things are generally more expensive in Nigeria than most developed countries. You don’t expect average US residents to pay 150k naira (about $300) for his / her apartment. People in US still crying for electric bill that is even less than $100 / month

I don’t know how Nigerian government except average Nigeria to survive in this great country. Most graduates don’t make 100k naira per month. Can’t even rent decent apartment in the city.

The ones wey dey home say youths no suppose block road while protesting. Some say the protest suppose don get timeframe.. Say dem been overstay for street.

Please if u cant pay, disconnect.
Nobody will protest again, lets just manage how they treat us. If u dont like the treatment, sniper is cheap, rope is not expensive...

I’m not surprised. This is the way it has been since time immemorial. Upon the billions in dollars spent by past and present government, no still stable power supply!

I don't know who Nigerians offend that made this country be in this mess!

Where's your sense? Because she has a job, that's why she should be paying ₦150k a month?
Is she running a steel rolling mill?

Lady, tell the stories to the world: Nigeria is like a roasting chamber for Nigerians still left in the country.

Hotel bill, flight tickets, food bills - all outrageously high and out of norm.

This country is a serious joke and I don't know how the government reason or they all expect people to steal to meet up with living in the country.
Imagine this outrageous billing. A country with #30k minimum wage before tax. For a family of 4 (father, mother and 2 children) spending average of #500 each daily. #2k × 30 = #60k. Now even if the minimum estimated power bill is #10k/month, how do the government think people cope - vis-a-vis transport, feeding, school fees etc. Just Speechless .
The whole thing just tire me. I beg let me stop before losing one's sanity.
