Have you tried withdrawing from skrill to your bank account?

Yet to try that. I was only able to effectively get $8 back into my T212 account via Skrill so when I tried to withdraw, the default option was still my wallets.africa debit card. I'm guessing their server chooses the option that you've been able to deposit the most with ($10 via debit card vs $8 via Skrill). I plan to deposit more via Skrill and then try to withdraw again.

Very aggressive and in fact "pissed-off" bull driving $GEVO share price up 82% today and making a new 52week high at $11.68. GEVO's share price high of $11.68 today means that anyone who bought at $5.05 last week (on January 11, 2021) as posted in the trailing comments would be already up 131% in just one week (i.e. 11 Jan - 19 Jan).
Sold 25% of my shares today bought at an average of $1.20 (after over 870% gain), while holding the remaining 75% for long term. GEVO is gradually waving bye-bye to pennyland.

Jayjaycee18:
$GEVO co-founder, Prof. Frances Arnold, who is the 2018 Noble Price-Winner for Chemistry for her work on "The Directed Evolution of Enzymes' has been named as co-chair of President-elect Joe Biden's Science & Technology Advisory Team.
Also, the President & CEO of Plug power ($PLUG), Mr. Andy Marsh currently sits om the board of GEVO. Connect the dots and its obvious that Biden's green/clean energy plan bodes well for GEVO. GEVO was $6.40 at market close on Friday, but has potential to be a multibagger.

Jayjaycee18 post=97965462:
Since you asked for only one stock, I will recommend $GEVO ($5.05 at marker close today). It's a renewable fuels company that should benefit from the policies of the incoming US Govt. You can either buy now or wait for a pullback/dip to buy.

GEVO converts renewable products like crops into conventional fuel products like jet fuel for Airlines and gasoline. I see huge prospects in this coy in the mid to long term, in terms of more revenue from contracts Airlines contract and potential Govt energy subsidies similar to the Federal and State EV tax credits which GM & Tesla used to benefit from. For instance, in the first half of 2020, Tesla tax credit revenues were $782 million.

Sweetmia37:
Please can someone recommend a very good stock to keep for medium to long term for me?
Thanks in advance!

You can then create a virtual dollar-based debit card which you can use on T212. I did same and have been able to deposit $10 to my T212 account and withdraw same from T212 to my virtual debit card. Their exchange rate is the only snag as it is quite high.

What's the exchange rate?

A lot of fundamentally sound stocks are posted on this forum by several monikers and myself and you have to carry out due diligence (DD) before buying any stock(s).

I normally post stocks that I own and either buying or watching for pullback/dip to buy on this forum. While my portfolio has the usual mid/large caps like Apple (AAPL), Tesla (TSLA), General Electric (GE), NIO, PLTR, SBE et al, from my experience, I make more gains from the sometimes very risky penny stocks which I go ahead to accumulate huge volumes after a very detailed due diligence and conviction of the underlying fundamentals of the company.

Kindly note that for penny stocks, and in fact, all other stocks, patience is very vital because Mr. Market would only recognize the worth of the stock and assign the right price at the appropriate time (sometimes within a a few days, a week, months or year). That said, the following stocks still have between 20-50% (or more) upside, depending on your investment strategy, risk tolerance intertwined with patience, and outlook (short, mid or long term):
Under $5 share price: ZOM, ABML, AVGR and CHEK
Under $10: PEIX, AMTX, BNGO and HEXO
Under $20: GEVO, NNDM, BFT, APDN and CCIV

Key advise: If the price of a stock drops after you buy, please don't fret, especially if you have done a detailed DD and are sure of the fundamentals of the stock(s) you bought. At the appropriate time, the share price will be realigned by Mr. Market and bounce back accordingly. Also, have an exit price target in mind to sell and lock-in gains and always set "stop-loss" once you have exceeded you price target to avoid eroding your profit due to usual market pullback/dips.

Disclosure: I currently own ZOM, ABML, AVGR, AMTX, GEVO, PEIX, NNDM, CCIV and BFT. Some of these have already ran up over 100%, but I remain bullish on them.

Bonne chance!!!

A "stop-loss" order is typically used to minimize the extent of loss incurred by an investor, if a stock dips viciously below the investors selected "pre-set" price (either below purchase price or investors target price). It is a pre-set share price at which a particular stock is either bought or sold, once the pre-set price is reached (activated). Once the stop-loss price is set on the stockbroking platform/app after buying shares, it activates on its own (automatically) and eliminates the need for the investor to intervene by him/herself if price dips.

With a pre-set stop loss order at a particular price, one does not have to stay awake to keep monitoring the stock trading price every other minute. Once the share price drops or reaches the "stop-loss" price, it automatically sells the quantity of shares that have been preset. For instance, if one sets a stop-loss order at 15% below ones purchase price, it will automatically peg/limit your loss at 15%, even if you are asleep or distracted.

If one buys a share of Apple at say $130, and enters a stop-loss order for $110.5 (i.e. 15% lower than purchase price), once the stock falls below $110.5, the stop-loss is activated and sells your shares at that market price, to avoid further losses if the share prices dips more than 15%.

I use this as well. Exchange rate is high. The best is to get a domiciliary account and get a dollar card. But Wallet Africa is a good alternative.

Get a domiciliary account. Or use Wallet Africa virtual dollar card. Factor the high exchange rate into your profit and move on.

Also, focusing on Trading212 and funding issues might prevent one from taking advantage of good stocks that are on Bamboo, Trove, Chaka.

So try not to miss the forest for the trees.

My question to David of Passfolio and the response came in swiftly (as attached).

The question goes as follows "I just created an account with you guys and I want to ask if:
1.) Passfolio accepts transfer deposits from domiciliary accounts in Nigeria and withdrawals to the same dorm account?
2.) If yes, what are the charges like as well for deposits and transfers via this channel?
3.) How do I go about it (depositing and withdrawing) using the Passfolio app?"

The payment is quite huge o. Elders in the house is it right to deposit funds in one's account using 477+ and withdraw at 380 due to devaluation of the naira?

Who told you the withdrawal rate on passfolio is 380??

It should be around #470/$ while deposit is around #479.75/$
