There is nothing northern about Ilorin and Kwara state as a whole. Nobody really cares about the fraudulent classification. Even a poor student of Geography knows that it is an anomaly to refer to Kwara state as north central. It is a fraud !

You are both right.
Geographically, illorin is located in western Nigeria.

Geopoliticaly, illorin is grouped along side Kogi, Benue, Abuja, Nasarawa, Niger and Jos as the North central region. These region consists of hudreds of small ethnic groups with different languages compared to other parts of Nigeria which have majority ethnic group with one major language.

I served in Ilorin and I really enjoyed my stay from offa garage to challenge to post office to pake to tanke to gaa imam, to unity to unilorin to gaa ganmbi to Ganmo to shoprite and other fun places, I love Ilorin a very peaceful place

The Shoprite most of you guys are lamenting about, you just had a glimpse of the exterior view. The shoprite which is located in Palm mall (one of the best in the country) compared to the ones you guys have in ur various states. The mall which comprised of viva cinema, Domino's pizza, Cold stone etc and a well space for parking.

Did you take geography? Kwara is perhaps the most Western-positioned state in Nigeria.
