I still remember the first day I was placed my first bet. A friend of mine won a huge money and I decided to try out on my own n that was how I started losing money on daily basis.

Remember there's nothing like sure odds in betting and no matter how big you win you will slowly and inevitably loose each and every penny one way or the other.

Great write up. You are very right, nothing is sure. Even a fixed match is not sure cos teams don't fix match by informing all the players. They just arrange it with one or two key players in the teams. Goalkeeper/defender/strikers. GK and defender can cause own-goal or allow silly goals. Strikers can always do an Ayeigbeni.

Second, many people don't have strategies. Some just stake with emotions or some kids prediction sites that they don't know who are behind them.

Fourth, many people don't play for fun. Gambling shouldn't be an escape route from poverty. I've read stories of people who just drop one or two pounds on odds that are not reasonable and they won. In fact, I read a story of a man who won 250k pounds in the UK and he didn't even know for several months. He just dropped one pound on a silly odd and continued his normal life. Many people don't have such emotions. How do you test yourself to know if you are playing for fun? If you place a bet and glue your eyes to the screen for the result, you are not playing for fun. I watched the virtual game for more than 2 hours but couldn't really establish any pattern. Although it seemed like when a new season began, in the first few rounds of matches any team that had WWW wouldn't get a 4th win but could get a draw or loss (same for DDD & LLL). There won't be same result if the previous 3 were the same.
I placed bets of N300 about 6 or 7 times and got no return. The lady knew I was new, she asked if it was my first time, I said yes. She said "take it from someone who has seen a lot here, it's not something you should be doing"....
I have never tried betting since then.
