No! You did not..follow or understand the procedure I provided.

Read again, patiently this time, below ;

For those having difficulties to nail Nigcomsat.
This is how I nailed 42e Nigcom with all the MBC channels and 60cm dish;
Endeavor to get a mint or brand new strong Lnb, don't use any other and especially the old one.
Now, input or set your sat finder or decoder tp to 12539h5000.
With the above tp you should hit green depending on location or expertise/experience, and when you finally do, endeavor to attain 70% above signal quality. Then, tighten your dish accordingly, and do remember to tweak to improve or increase your signal. After all, done and tightened, kindly change your tp to 12518H30000-- when and immediately you do, the signal strength may decrease on this one but it will surely capture all the sat position channels without itches or skipping. This worked for me after several attempts with success without NBC channels.

You see the difference between mine tp % and your first signal to mine? In your own case you attained " 63% " while the info provided states, 70% and above? Also, note that my second tp ends in "30000* and not "29500".

when you open the v8 application scroll down there are four options though they are not labelled, click on the third option by the right; you will see satellite and a + sign click on the plus sign u will be given options to edit satellite,frequency,sym&pol.....

You're using V8 finder and you still get 63%?

You can also change the wire from your lnb to decoder/satfinder. Make sure it's new and short. Then check your dish if it's not warped.

What do you mean by warped bro? I have some rust on the surface of my dish, could this lead to poor signal reception?

Bend. As in bent. Not perfectly rounded.
The rust can also be responsible from experience.

make sure your lnb is at 2oclock ....is very easy to nail a bird with v8 finder,I use v8 bt03.....it has an accurate compass. what's your phone model?

it has not been used for like 2months and i got home yesterday it worked for like 15mins and it went off. didnt come on again.

Like somebody rightly wrote above, you probably need an installer or your LNB is not the original one. Get a good and original LNB and if all else fails then know that, the positioning of your dish or location needs to be changed.

If you have the resources, you can get a new one. I have some old dishes that would not receive Nigcomsat nor 68.5e. I just used such for 28e, 36, 45e etc.

my dish is not warped but the wire is long. I will cut it short and try again to see if it will increase the signal. thanks
