They are confused as well. It’s a government directive so they have to comply even though most of the countries they operate from don’t do such tests at their airports. They may have to move customers to Air France where convenient. As at yesterday, they said they’re looking at ‘if the test can be done at the airport (in conjunction with one of the private labs).’

Yes. KLM Nigeria has now issued a circular on the testing. You can get the 4 hours test at the airport. The cost is 28k. They also included a link where you can register before that day or you can also pay at the airport. Also was your PPR approved after 18 March?

What Chances do I have in applying for a PhD degree using my MSc grade of 60 % as most of them are requesting for 70 - 80 %?

Does this mean that I have to apply for MSc afresh in Canada and make the required grades for PhD? How does this affect my student visa chances?

If you are a PR , it’s not that expensive. An average of 11k will be ok (and you can get grants and/or loan). On the other hand, international student fees can go as high as 40k. LPN is an over subscribed program and the requirements is usually a minimum of 60% in Maths, English, Biology and Physics/Chemistry (some schools skip Physics or chemistry). Because it’s an oversubscribed program, they end up choosing people with the highest scores so while the minimum is 60%(keep in mind that some schools require 70%), it doesn’t guarantee admission. I don’t think it will really matters if you graduated with third class, if you have the required score in the courses I stated above, you should be fine. You also need to carry out a course by course evaluation of your degree and /or diploma(depending on the one you want to use) since you schooled outside Canada(most schools accept WES).

if you have work experience why not go through the Skilled workers route than going through the student route, you'll spend more going through the student route except you have the cash to spend. Canadian schools are quite expensive for international student and fair enough for PR and citizens

If your first place of landing in Canada is Toronto then that will be where your immigration check will be. Try to look for a flight with a long stop over between landing in Toronto and your flight to Edmonton. I missed my flight due to the long line at immigration and they connected me to the next available flight at no extra cost (I don't inow if that is how it always work )

Hello, please how many hours wait did you have between toronto to edmonton? I’m seeing a flight with waiting time of 2hr 30mins in toronto to calgary and i’m not too sure if 2hrs will be enough time to finish the immigration check and still make it in time for the next flight.
