I am sorry if I bug u guys with my perceived crap, I am talking to u, the diehard fundamentalists and serial dividend collectors. grin

I haven't seen any references in our local media towards systematic trading techniques. So, I post mine. I know some big and small firms use these techniques on our NSE, codedly. I am sure they are cashing out big time.

If systematic algorithms make big bucks on the New York Stock Exchange, which is saturated as at now with these trading robots, how much more our NSE. Food for thought "Bro". angry

Systematic trading is all good, but in a third world economy where the variables to the previous close positions can sometimes leave you wondering. I think it's a really really wild venture bro. Unlike the developed economy where such variables can be controlled.

Our market is very shallow, you need a very deep market for some of these things to work well.

Hmmm, why do you think there is no control?

I don't understand why some folks here believe NSE is manipulated either. As far as I know the NSE is authentic and genuine.

If someone has enough money to bid for 100M share in order to move the market and later withdraws his bids, that in itself is not manipulation but strategy.

I have been looking at past data for a while and how they change over time .I haven't seen any anomalies.

I agree with you on that one, there is a limit to howmuch u can buy on most stocks. If u have a 200 million or more it will be very hard to trade systematic strategies, u will be forced to do buy and hold.

I have been following your post as it relates to STT and I can say you are doing well. Looks and sounds logical.

Personally, I'll be giving it a trial soon. Thank you for the beautiful analogy.

Aside the NASS palav.a....did you also see the advise from Billgate to Nigeria? We should focus more on our health sector rather than vaccine production.

Putting all of these into perspective, we should expect some impact on the share price.

Paid 59k in November 2020, UPDC earned about N1 billion dividend from UPDC REIT in November 2020.

Unfortunately UPDC did not generate enough revenue that can take care of their running cost

Wole Oshin is a professional marketer, I see him focusing on housing units of N20 million and above which the average Nigerian workers can afford. With this they can increase their revenue from about N3 billion to N20 billion or more in the next 5 years.

With about 20 million housing deficits in Nigeria, assuming just 1 million are viable at an average cost of N5 million for low cost houses that is a market of N5 Trillion for players in the sectors over a period of 10 years.

PENCOM may need to allow workers to borrow against their pension contributions for house ownership, rather than FG borrowing the pension funds through sovereign bonds.

Thanks boss.

Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by safepaulooo(m): 10:14am On Jan 28, 2021
Exactly. Billgate advised 9ja to focus on strengthening health care system, which was what Yahaya Bello had been preaching but was rejected. But they listen to white man. The pandemic is not as terrible as portrayed in this part of the world, largely politicised and profiteered. If gsk and Co will advance, might have very little or nothing to do with vaccine. My 2 cents
