The whole move may be premised on the ground that the male soldiers are no longer trusted. It may be issues of collusion with the criminals on their parts or the criminals easily disguise as the male soldiers. The criminals can't disguise as females soldiers hence the need to use female soldiers all through.

I don't know about the Osama part.
But there were female Soviet snipers in ww2, and they were good at their job.

As for the best sniper in the world in my book, it's the Finnish soldier, that single handedly took out over 400 Soviet soldiers, during the Finnish-soviet wars.

u people will just be talking....in all the heavy combats the USA have engaged have u seen them deploy an all women unit....we know the are all trained and so...but the risks and psychology are different.. capturing a male soldier by insurgents or bandits is one thing....torture or instant execution... but when it is female, the options are huge plus the draw more public sympathy and oh.....been raped gosh..
