Kobicove:Why can't people just refuse to buy food for their senior colleagues? |

CheedyJ:na lie. you go think twice before you send am again. he has created an uncertain air around him. also, no matter the level a worker is, it is unethical to send him on an errand that is not company/work related. so if you send am again, if the guy take am up, you fit loose your job. |

Kobicove:Did you have to come with a Toyota Corolla? Why not just blatantly refuse based on the fact that it's not in your job description? I have always said it that the problem of this country is not the leaders but the people in it. The same citizens shouting "end SARS" and calling for good leadership are the same ones abusing their senior positions to send junior ones on errands, an activity not in the job description of the junior ones. Even lecturers/supervisors will implicitly demand wine, bag of rice, cash and other stuffs before they can give you your MSc and PhD; this is a serious abuse of power. Even military men abuse their powers over civilians. The same SARS operatives (and even police) are abusing their powers to rob and kill civilians. Put the average citizen in a top political position and you will get the same looting, indifference towards the masses, and abuse of power. There are many more examples. In short, the average Nigerian is an animal and dictator, one that finds it incredibly difficult to simply obey traffic light, develop a good maintenance culture, and put used nylons and plastic in the trash can.

CheedyJ:Even if the guy dey trek, he is under no bloody obligation to get u food or anyone else... Afterall its not part of his job description. Nigerians are mostly stupid and wicked in nature hence we abuse little positions given to us. If ur organization too dope why dem no assign person to dey go those food errands na junior colleague u dey send message. Then when him put something join ur food u go sick for two weeks then die throway like homeless dog. No be only superior. Kuku join army na ![]() |

SavageResponse:Females are easily intoxicated by power. You might think you and a female co-worker are on good standing, but she becomes something hideous towards you and everyone when she is promoted to a position of authority. Seen it happen many times. Even the females, not all, who gain admission before you, or maybe you repeated a class in uni or life placed you below them, will give you some attitude when you see them on the road; they will probably snub you and treat you like trash. I have seen this happen to friends and acquaintances. Even females are victims of this COMMON attitude by females. The person they become after they have power or get married is their true self all along. |

CheedyJ:Nobody done ever send me on such errands because i never started from those lowly bottom positions while i used to work for some organization. I just hate our love for abusing little power given to us and yet we blame our leaders for doing same. Its just stupidity. And for those running errands for them its a pity they don't know their rights as employees.. Starting at the bottom is okay but being used by everyone is just simply stupidity at the highest... Lol u say make i nor take serious matter seriously.. na wah for u oo |

Kobicove:It is what humility is all about. Forming a strong head and stubborn takes you nowhere. As a junior colleague or an intern, you'll definitely be disrespected and ordered around. One way or another You'll surely serve before you become boss. |

Shortyyy:only in a Nigerian work setting where some airheads who got promoted to their current position by luck or charm or sexcapedes feel so entitled to order junior colleagues around. Honestly Buhari seems to be the true President that reflects who most Nigerians are ![]() |

CheedyJ:maybe you should reread the post again. the guy no be errand boy. most likely na IT d guy dey do dat time. that's how most students on SIWES programs behave. dem go carry their papa car dey flex. na dat kind one you wan send twice abi? dat na if dem no beat you for your working place. |

Shortyyy:You clearly don't know what humility is. Being willing to be unjustly kicked about by someone superior when you can say a simple "no" and resist on good grounds is not humility. I won't be surprised if you are just like the women who send junior colleagues on errands because they are in senior positions; maybe that's why you are typing the nonsense you have been typing all over this thread. |

Misterone:Life is not hard. If you cant conform they send you packing. You can go and use the g wagon too do uber no on cares. Everyone works Thier way to the top. Don't be surprised that stupid kid will not find anything wrong sending someone below him on errands. Humility gets you to the top. If you cant conform then fvck off |
