You, Festus Keyamo and all other terrorist sympathizers will never succeed in taking away our right to free speech. the best you can do is trigger events that will lead to the break away of we humans, leaving behind animals like Festus Keyamo.

The funny thing about your nonsensical comment now is that you do not even realize that your social media free speech has long been taken away even without a law being in place.

The law is just to make it formal.

Why not go on social media and say you will go on killing spree and assassinate every police officer you meet on the streets or say you will rape children.

Better yet just say you have done those already and watch what would happen to you since you are the free speech champion.

You will know no Nigerian go to social media to say such things if you are not stupid.
stop trying to be wise by bringing up an impossible scenario.
Everyone knows what the animals in government are trying to do.

People like nnamdi Kanu are using their social media accounts for such purposes, what is stopping your useless government from arresting them?

Why does the Nigerian government love chasing shadows?

The most basic responsibility of the government to its people as captured in the first statements of the constitution is welfare and security which the government doesn't give a care about

Now, they're busying themselves with policing everybody's opinion on social media which they didn't or cannot create or manage themselves.

Yeye dey smell

What's tha business?

Keyamo has just told us why d govt is so desperate about this NIN/sim synchronisation. They say it's to fight crime but keyamo is telling us that it's meant to give d govt more powers to monitor people. Unfortunately, nigerians don't ask questions hence we end up as victims of govt policies & actions

You seem not to realise what FREE SPEECH means and it shows how stupid you are.

This means you are FREE TO SAY ANYTHING, ANYTIME, ANYWHERE. I am sure you know the meaning of ANYTHING don't you?

This was why I gave those examples you dummy.

Since you know there are laws in the land against threats, violent speech, lies and falsehood why then do you think because you are on social media you can freely make such utterances with zero consequences since you want to be stupid

The government can multitask. One area should not stop because another area needs to be worked on. Why then do we have a minister of Information?

A lot of times the job of a Minister of Information crosses over to issues bordering on National Security when it has to do with information revealing threats to the peace and stability of a nation.

Everyone has their role to play.

U haven't answered my question. Pls take note of d phrase "primary responsibility":

Has govt succeeded in it's primary responsibilities of providing welfare for d people & securing d lives and property of it's citizens? Section 14 (2b) of d constitution

Everything is full circle. Civility begets responsibility.

You can protest against a government but even protests have rules of engagement.

Even when those rules are broken by government it is now your place to speak the truth and not distort it because when it is found that you distorted it that is when the legal language, PERJURY comes into play and in itself that is a crime against Justice and would land you behind bars

bringing up an impossible scenario does not make you wise.

What is Festus Keyamo trying to regulate since there are no Nigerians currently doing what you said.

one thing about this government is that they always see themselves as wise, but they are stupid. this is going to fail same way their plan to gift our ancestral land to Fulani in the name of ruga failed.

all Nigerians will soon stand up to resist any attempt to enslave us. even the army will not stop us when it is time.

A government does not work in isolation which is why it has shared responsibilities to others who in Nigeria are called Ministers.

All Ministers work and do not wait for another before they commence.

When you talk about primary responsibility you need to break it down to yourself and understand that these primary responsibilities are all intertwined and information management is key in all this.

You all want a Pre-emptive government and not a reactive one right

This is a Pre-emptive measure and same Pre-emptive measures are ongoing in USA, CANADA, UK, ETC

Are those governments stupid too?

Is d govt civil and responsible? What rules of engagement are u referring to in protests? Does d govt listen to or heed d truth? Does d govt not perjure on a daily basis?

All u have said still takes us back to this:

So how do we apply d law to check d threats, d lies and falsehood of govt?
