From my observations over the years, I don't think these male nollywood stars are paid more than N5,000/movie, their lifestyles show they live in poverty and the public is easily the place they run to when they need help unlike their female counterparts. I have never seen a female nollywood star begging the public for financial help. Something urgent needs to be done to save our male nollywood stars before they go into extinction.

We hope his colleagues come to his aid ASAP and may the case never be like the case of the actor that died few days ago (what's his name again?!)

Sad that such news keep surfacing especially from that industry. It shows that they don't make as much as desired, they don't have an income plan for themselves while their association or group don't equally have any insurance in place. There is certainly something about gender in their business because you keep seeing just one movie appearance of an "actress" she buys expensive house & cars while the reverse is the case for the male who may appear in several movies. I pray he gets the required help and get well soon. Though, they were part of those that marketed a bad narrative about Africa and her believes.

Death too many in this make-believe world of theatrics. This man should not be let to die. The actors guild should look into getting mandatory insurance for its members or some kind of pension or charity help money pot.

Nigeria men should start avoiding Nollywood except the gay ones before they go into extinction as only the virginal people and the gay men seems to be making it big in Nollywood.

This nonsense has to end in Nollywood. This man is a veteran actor with close to a 100 movies and should never be asking for help. But we see a lady start acting last year and build a house the next year. This is no good.

1. Nollywood has to fight piracy. I mean kill it if possible. Alaba and Upper Iweka boys cannot be making millions while the actors are given peanuts.

2. Sex for roles should stop. Its promoting mediocrity and kills real talents who wont bow to it.

3. Nollywood home video producers should embrace online mediums to make more money

4. The actors guild should take its membership very seriously and ensure health insurance for its members.

Wish Emeka Ani the best in recovery. He delivered his wicked and fetish roles in the past very well.
