1. Forget about her and move on. Only deal with people who are genuinely interested in you, and keep money away from your relationship as much as possible especially during the beginning phaze, except if it's for investment and equally treat that differently from your relationship. You are not her father why should you be paying her bills when you are just knowing her.

2. Take time to be friends with ladies and know her mindset and how she sees life and her approach to life, you can't just fall in love just like that, you can admire at first, love follows after admiration, during that admiration stage get to know her before you profess love.

3. Know what you want,if you want a wife material, select a lady with those tendencies and attributes, character must come first, not physically appearance, that will matter but it should be the last point of consideration. Never date a lady that you don't think can raise your kids.

OP, please ignore the people insulting you and calling you names. We're human beings with feelings and you should never be made to feel ashamed for loving someone and showing that love through actions. That being said, this woman does not love you and is emotionally blackmailing you to get money from you. A relationship should not cause you unnecessary stress and this one is. So I know it might be hard but you need to cut her off completely and move on with your life. No more calls, texts, social media, etc. Take what happened in this relationship as a lesson learned and only give the amount of money you're comfortable with (meaning an amount you won't give a second thought to). Be honest with yourself, you were attracted to her looks, and not necessarily her mind. And this is the mistake lots of guys make in relation with women. I'm a guy, so I understand the dilemma lots of men have in resisting the temptation of a stunning woman, although is you can resist it, you will hardly be at the caricature of a woman.

There is a proverb that says, "fool me once, your fault, but fool me twice, my fault". I'm not sure if this your first time of being embezzled but do not allow it to happen next time, that's the only way you'll feel better. Being a one-time naive is allowed, but being perpetually stupid becomes your fault.

So forgive yourself and move on, don't be too harsh on yourself that you fell for her charm and scam, because even all the folks here calling you names must-have in the past, had similar experiences, but of course, no one dries their dirty pant outside. Just do not let it ever happen again. Next time, look beyond the surface. If you judge the value of a woman by her looks, you'll fail woefully.

And lastly, about that there are no good girls in Nigeria, well, I'll tell you that it is a lie. There are good, wonderful, resourceful women in Nigeria, you're just looking at the wrong places. Every day, I see good women doing well for themselves, from the roadside food sellers to the social media entrepreneurs, in the church and everywhere. To find God (meaning the good things of life, women inclusive), you must be willing to look low. Yes, that is where it is (1st kings 19.11-13). Good women are not advertising themselves on social media, they are everywhere doing well for themselves, hoping that a good man finds them. Also, because you want a good woman, doesn't mean a good woman wants you. So to have the audacity to request the commitment of a good and virtous woman, you must be deserving of her, because good women won't just surrender themselves to you because you want them.

If you play your game right, finding quality women shouldn't be a problem, because they are everywhere, you only need to remove the filter on your face, so you can see them.
