Take several seats and cease your enthusiastic gibberish even if only for a nano second ! You're incapable of functioning at a higher level ANYWAY even if you wanted to.

While I'm no expert these are some truths I discovered about underlying issues of the whole Biafra thing:

- the Northerners had genuine grievances over the murder of the Sultan and his wife by Igbo Kaduna Boy, born and brought up speaking Hausa

He admits to the whole world with zero effs!?

[url]https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chukwuma_Kaduna_Nzeogwu/url]

The anti Igbo pogroms began in July a whole half year AFTER their leaders were murdered. OBVIOUSLY it WASN'T an organised holocaust but a spontaneous reaction to EXTREMELY provocative political events.

- militarily a Biafra win was IMPOSSIBLE unless given a massive superiority in arms as they were outnumbered and outgunned as Ojukwu or even a FIRST year cadet SHOULD have known. Look at that map! What the ACTUAL eff was he thinking!?

- speaking of which how COULD he LEAVE his followers fighting on while fleeing to the Ivory Coast?

[url][https://encomium.ng/how-ojukwu-escaped-from-biafra-in-1970/url]

At LEAST a million dead, MAINLY Igbo civilians thanks to a hare brained scheme founded upon TYPICAL hubris and nigga WANT to go DOWN that route AGAIN?! Let them !

Knowing what I KNOW now it's OBVIOUS typical Igbo arrogance was at the bottom of glaring miscalculations.

- the biggest boosters of Biafra were Oyinbos! Look at Frederick Forsyth on scene since 67 he was ACTUALLY embedded with Ojukwu forces for long periods. He's been a long time Anglo Zionist agent so THERE'S no surprise there.

[url][https://www.bbc.com/news/av/entertainment-arts-34101269url]

Just looking at him he's so hilariously JEWISH it's not even funny!?

Like I said if you insist on this arrogant secessionism I hope Kanu leads from the front like THIS DUDE!

what concerns you, will that romove hunger and starvation from Kenya?

Many of you here are hypocrites and terrorists sympathetics.
What dialogue will you give to people who wilfully picked arms over their cattle business?
So because country hard make every Sani, Olumide and Chike turn to bandits and start terrorising travellers and farmers trying to make end meet?
Something tells you they are Nigerians seeking for greener pastures with machine guns and Aks?
The money spent buying guns is more than enough to start business anywhere in Nigeria.

And few pages back you're even saying no dialogue for Igbos

I honestly see no reason why he shouldn't contribute so far he is well informed about it. In this same thread, we have Nigerians discussing issues of other countries including South Africa and we don't see South Africans insulting them and telling them to keep quiet. If we want to shut others up when we are discussing issues about our country, then we shouldn't also discuss issues partaining to other countries.
And the topic of the thread makes it clear we are all discussing African issues.

As for the issue of herdsmen, the solution is very simple. Lobby your governors and state reps to make laws banning open grazing in your state of they are indeed being honest with you concerning this menace.

When a nation decides not to police it's borders/boundaries, these are the consequences it must deal with.

70% of the security and economic problems we face are due to lack of proper border policing, 20% due to the uselessness of the police force, the two together are due to lack of proactiveness on the part of the government.

There is a judgement giving by a Federal high court in the 60's banning open grazing. So open grazing is automatically a crime in Nigeria.

I'm not so sure, but I think the case was between the Old Ondo state government and miyetti allah. Miyetti allah lost the case and failed to appeal it. Is now so late cause there is always a timeline to appeal.

Never knew about this, if it is true, why is it that it isn't being enforced, why is it that we don't see governments and individuals sue violators to court? I will read more about it though. But I feel it is the duty of the legislature(both federal and state) to enact a law and appropriate punishment as regards open grazing.

Sheik Gumi visits Zamfara bandit in forests, appeals for peace

A renowned Islamic Scholar, Sheikh Dr Aimed Abubakar Mahmoud Gumi, on Tuesday visited some bandits in the forests of Shinkafi and Gummi local government areas of Zamfara State.

It was gathered that Gumi’s visit to the camps was to spread the message of Islam and peace to the Fulani herdsmen and rid the country of kidnappings and banditry.

Gummi and his entourage were said to have first gone to the forest of Tubali and Makkai in Shinkafi LGA which were under the control of armed Fulani herdsmen.

At the first settlement in Tubali Forest, Gumi was said to have met with about 150 armed Fulanis who expressed their grievances and why it would be difficult for them to surrender their arms.

The chairman of Shinkafi council reportedly said before the peace agreement with the bandits, there were frequent and rampant cases of kidnappings on Shinkafi-Gusau road while instances of frequent attacks with heavy casualties were rampant, adding that presently, the council had spent seven months without a single attack.

The bandit commander, identified simply as Bello, said, “Let the killings of our loved ones by security agents without due process of the law stop, as well as cattle rustling that denied most of us legitimate means of livelihood.”

At Makkai Forest, Gumi and his entourage met with more than 600 bandits with automatic rifles.

Their top commander, one Kachalla Turji, welcomed the Sheikh.

Like in Tubali, the bandits in Makkai expressed frustration at government attitude towards them.

Gumi said, “Let there be peace; you all have a legitimate concern and grievances, and I believe that since the Niger Delta armed militants were integrated by the Federal Government and are even in the business of pipelines protection, the Federal Government should immediately look into how something like that will be done to the Fulani to provide them with reasonable means of livelihood including jobs, working capitals, entrepreneurship training, building clinic and schooling.”

Let's avoid politics in this thread.

As for government's efforts to curb farmer's-herdsmen conflicts, the government provided two initiatives RUGA and the National Livestock Transformation Plan. Both were weaponized against the government with people misinforming the masses that the government is being biased and giving the fulani people undue advantages.

The problem we regarding this conflict is thinking that only Fulanis own cattle in the country. Fulani are mostly employed to take care of cattles because they are somewhat seen as experts, but the truth is that the vast majority of the cattles in Southern Nigeria are owned by the people of Southern Nigeria.
We need to stop deceiving ourselves and tackle this issue sincerely.
If only the government can put in place an initiative to identify the owners of all cattles in the country, our eyes go open, it will even reduce money laundering, embezzlement and other crimes they use this thing to commit.

All other livestock farmers in the country provide shelter and feeding for their animals except cattle farmers. They can protect their cattle by ranching them. There was even a time when bandits/cattle rustlers crossed from Niger into Nigeria, fought against some Nigerian herders and took their cattle back to Niger.

We Can Invite Foreign Fighters To Destabilise Nigeria – Terror Leader
Zamfara based terror leader, Turji, is threatening to invite foreign fighters to destabilise Nigeria.
A terror leader in Nigeria’s Northwest region, Kachalla Turji, says his group can call for foreign support to fight and destabilise Nigeria.

Turku is heard in a video shared on Facebook discussing grievances that have sustained killings, kidnapping and cattle rustling by his group in the region.

He spoke against the background of efforts of the government which have underestimated the strength of his group at a meeting between Dr Ahmad Abubakar Gumi, an influential northern Islamic cleric, and members of the group on Tuesday.

Flanked by fighters holding machine guns and assault rifles, Turji, dressed in camouflage fatigue, told clerics led by Gumi on a peacebuilding mission, that the Nigerian government never kept promises.

He said his group attended the meeting because it was convened by Islamic clerics.
One fighter had an RPG round during the session, which took place in Shinkafi area of Zamfara State, one of the states in the Northwest, where terrorist groups have been wreaking havoc on local populations.

Gumi’s visit was part of his peacebuilding and outreach efforts to Fulani communities and armed groups in the Northwest region.

The cleric has toured different locations in Zamfara, engaging officials, traditional leaders and non-state actors in a bid to contribute towards bringing an end to violence in the state.

The visit was reported to have occurred following an invitation of the state Governor, Bello Matawalle.

According to Desert Herald, Gumi visited the construction site of a RUGA settlement in Maradun.

The RUGA project is a component of an initiative of the state government to improve the condition of pastoralists and mitigate clashes between them and farmers.

Gumi was quoted by the newspaper as saying that despite the confidence the Fulani had in him, the success of his effort depended largely on the cooperation of the government.

The cleric said his priority in Zamfara State was to spread the message of Islam to the Fulani population since majority of them were born as Muslims and to ensure that Islamic teachers were sent to teach them about the tenets of their faith.

A review of violence in Zamfara by a state official in April 2019 showed that 3,526 persons were killed and 8,219 injured in the state in five years.

The official also said that nearly 500 villages were destroyed and over 13,000 hectares of farmlands destroyed or made useless as farmers could no longer use them for farming over the same period.

“Whatever amenity you are now enjoying from the Nigerian state, be it public schools, hospital, roads, electricity and pipe-borne water, as bad as they can be in some places or most places, the nomadic Fulani never enjoys any of that,” Gumi posted on his Facebook page on Jan. 5.

The sheik believes that government’s intervention and presence in terms of social amenities is important but that the use of Islamic education to promote peace was necessary.

Gumi had previously visited Fulani communities in Kaduna State which has also witnessed a series of clashes between herders and farmers in recent times.

The violence in the Northwest is associated with historical, social, economic and environmental factors which are reinforcing and sustaining kidnapping, cattle rustling, revenge killings and the battle for the control of land resources.

Some of the factors include poverty and neglect by the government.

According to an International Crisis Group report in May 2020, the conflict between Hausa farmers and Fulani herders has killed at least 8,000 people since 2011 and displaced more than 200,000 who have moved over to neighbouring Niger Republic.

https://humangle.ng/we-can-invite-foreign-fighters-to-destabilise-nigeria-terror-leader/

This statement is enough reason to start a border wall project and it is very painful that the government will not do anything until it is already extremely late.

While I do not dispute your statement, I will like to ask you just one question.

How many yoruba men do you know that owns cattle ranch? If you will agree with me that Yorubas also own cattles, where do they house and feed their cattles. It is entirely true that nomadic bororos are involved in this crisis, but we are also doing it to ourselves. If we are going to stop this crisis, let's start with ourselves before facing the wild bororos from Chad, Cameroon and Niger.
My mom works with a state ministry of Agriculture, they've tried mediating between farmers and herdsmen several times and what they hear most times are usually very different from what the media reports. Often times, the kings or local chiefs in the communities involved in the crisis would have received gifts in cash and other items from the herders and granted them permission to graze on "his lands". There are times that it is farmers themselves who invite the herdsmen to come graze their cattle on their own fields for a fee after they might have harvested the corns or whatever crops are on the field, some of these farmers in order to maximize profits then go on to include their neighbors fields in the perimeter they will describe for the herders. But even after all this, there are herdsmen who are evil and just feel entitled to all the lands they can reach with the mentality that lands belong only to God.

To stop this crisis, we have to be truthful and honest with ourselves. Yorubas say Kokoro to n jefo, inu efo na ni n gbe.

Next time you see a herder, approach him and offer him a nice price to buy one of his cattle, many among them will tell you it belongs to their oga, few of them will sell to you and go and lie to their ogas that they were attacked or the cattle died or whatever lies. And some will sell because they own them.

At least it isn't only Nigeria that the Fulani migrate too during their grazing season and we don't hear about their clashes in other countries.

They are traditionally nomadic cattle-herders and traders in the Sahel, with migrations stretching from southern Niger, through northern Nigeria, northeastern Cameroon, southwestern Chad, western region of the Central African Republic and the northeastern of the Democratic Republic of Congo. In fact there is a huge economic advantage in solving this issue of herdsmen-farmers conflict reasonably.
The current value of the Nigerian cattle industry is about $2 billion, if we modernize we can increase it to $10 billion, generating a lot of employment opportunities ; vets, extension officers, genetic engineers, business opportunities; production of silage, production of cattle drugs and supplements, development of the diary industry, increase yields, development of manure industry and indirectly increasing crop yields, billions paid as taxes to the government.

Establishment of cattle ranches across the country is a gold mine waiting to be tapped. It's exactly the same with ensuring peace and stability in the lake Chad axis because of the vast quantity of oil/gas in that region. We are painfully wasting opportunities.

Negotiation isn't compulsory, I'm for whatever method that will end this issue as fast as possible with as little casualties as possible.
Since the fall of the Gaddafi regime, weapons have been disgustingly cheap, if you have the right connect.
If the government search the slums of Lagos and ibadan they will be amazed at the quantity and quality of weapons they will find there.
The Niger-delta militants were agitating for development and economic growth in their region yet they could afford some of these weapons. In fact there are weapons dealers who are willing to sell to people on credit with just the promise of receiving a percentage of spoils and loots.
There are people who profits off wars and conflicts in many disgusting ways.
