I thought they said you must have 6,6,6,6 before you can create a profile. I want to be sure please. I thought they said you must have 6,6,6,6 before you can create a profile. I want to be sure please.

I think the main idea is clear. Your scores are enough to enter the pool. When you are in the pool, you stand the chance of being invited (no matter how low your scores are), being selected by a province etc. However, if you are not in the pool, the chances of selection by a province of ITA Is absolutely zero.
You understand now ?

I receive it too. I think that somewhere on the application, a selection of regular updates was made. The update coming from logging in to the account. It records the update that you are still eligible at that time you logged in and probably made some changes.

Thanks alot. It worked after revoking the gckey as you advised and profile is active in the pool now
Ikepooni:

Revoke your gckey and create another account from scratch. Check the following:

1.Make sure your NOC code is either under O, A or B. NOC “C” is not eligible for express entry.

2. Check the number of hours of work you inputted. It should be calculated per week e.g 30hrs per week. 30hrs per week is the minimum number of hours eligible for express entry.

3. Check your POF. Make sure you use the exact figure required for relocation for 1 applicant.

Try that and see how it goes

Please can someone help me with this,

Can this 1year diploma program from Nigerian french Language village be used to claim 2 or more degrees?

If yes, which evaluating body will be best for the ECA?

I'm asking for a friend. She has a BA from Unilag, another Unilag Diploma like that which she made me understand is only useful for admission in Unilag then the One year Diploma from the above institution.

Good Afternoon All,

I hope the day is ending great?
I have been a silent observer of this thread, and a lot of information passed across has been helpful to me. Helpful enough to get me from IELTS to ITA to AOR to Biometrics. Really Thankful.

However, I have a few issues. Gurus, anyone, in the house kindly help out.

I recently got married last week, and raised a webform on my Registry day, January, 2021, as i had read where someone said it is best to inform IRCC as soon as possible when the marital status changes. I had also initially read that it takes about 5 days for response. However, I am still yet to get a response.

Questions:
1. Is this normal?. Have anyone raised a Webform recently gotten a delayed response like me?.

2. My wife had gone to book a date for her Medicals, 2 weeks ago, and she was given 20th of this month. If IRCC doesn't respond before then, would that count as Upfront Medicals?. Hope there are no issues with Upfront Medical result.

I appreciate.

Hi,

We are in the same situation, raised a webform on the 6th and yet to get a response. What I did was do a little research and I found out what the response for addition of spouse was, it's always the same for everybody.

I was able to download the forms and I got all the documents, I sent everything in via webform last week even before getting their response. I also called the call centre to get my Visa Office. I asked the agent if I should raise a new webform directly to my VO but she said there was no need as they would get the one I raised earlier.

I saw someone that said he did this on another forum and they just added his spouse to his application without any questions. So fingers crossed.

My advise is that you get all the forms and documents and send them in, waiting for them to respond might take a while.

Goodluck.

As at when I did mine it wasn’t available. I advice you reach out to PG school to confirm if it’s actually available before going all the way. If it is then it’s an awesome choice.

Hi everyone, I'm new here. Please I would like to ask a question on behalf of a friend. When applying for FSW, does a spouse IELTS & Masters results increase the total CRS score I tried checking this out on the CRS tool and noticed that there was no increase in score, in fact it reduced the couple's total CRS score when compared to applying as an individual.

She was informed that if both couple write IELTS and have masters that the CRS score will increase.

Greetings to everyone on this thread. I am a civil engineering student who is into programming and i just want to ask, how possible is it to get a visa if I'm employed by a Canadian firm. Like I don't have a degree in a programming related course and I also don't have a full time or part time employment since I'm more of a freelancer. I would really appreciate your input.

You should ask the Canadian firm how to go about getting your visa. Companies that hire will almost not let you handle the entire processing yourself as there’s a team in-house for that.
We out here are hustling for PR , I doubt anyone knows how to.
All the best

Greetings good people. Please I need your help with my application.
After simulation I got 477, however upon applying my score is now 454. Have had to withdraw my application twice now. Don't know what could be wrong.

Age: 32
IELTS: LRSW...8.5, 7.5, 7.5, 7.5
Education: Masters from NOUN
Marital status: Single
WES: positive, Canadian Equivalent
Sibling is a PR
NOC: 2263...B
Years of Experience 8yrs
Despite all these, I still get 454. I don't know what could be wrong. Please you guys should help me review. Thank you.

Well, applying as a couple is definitely going to have an effect on your total points, either as an increase or decrease. In my case when I applied alone I had more points than when I applied as a couple, but when added my wife Masters and IELTS then points where higher - still lower than if I applied alone.

You probably made a mistake somewhere in your application, I'd suggest you log back in and check section-wise if you didn't miss anything.

So I was basically trying to make a point, there might be a minimum score but i don't know. The scores you put are above 6 so not sure why you ask. Even if its 5 (which is rare), try it first and see if you can open a profile. There is no advantage waiting when you have IELTs scores as I already mentioned, there is the tie breaker rule and also even if your CRS is lower, a province can give you nomination. Never wait if you can open a profile, thats all I am saying.
