Today and tomorrow will be bloody oo. If you bought low, no need to panic, if you bought high wait until the blood stops and then average down. If you can't cut your loss and move on.

We need it to be bloody...

We have been waitin for it...

The age of the BULL is over...

Somebody is gutting this market savagely

Interest rates have been low since and they could’ve raised it since but they didn’t.

The right thing to do is wait for dividends to be released before increasing the rates but the person knows that after dividends are released the market will fall.

So they are taking steps now to reduce the prices so that those who win in dividends don’t in price appreciation

The market is being gutted. The fall of prices after dividends will be crazy.

Somebody said waiting for GTB at 29. Hmmmm
GTB is the financial sector industry leader. Where it goes the others follow. In my view 29&: high sef.

undecided

Kai, Mr. Moneywealth also gave a cool caution and some nice nuggets to back it up, that day Vita was at 10.8, and UCAP was at 6.1, thank God i didn't do strong and ignore those signs after a careful review of the prevalent move in the economy and the market

I don't think you are hasty@ the bold. I expect bargainers to start buying in tranches from today.

Catching the exact bottom of a market can be tricky and makes one to lose out especially for those already calling out their almost infeasible entry price.

Greetings madam and good job you are doing here!

When people start calling those far fetched entry prices people should know its time to start buying. I still believe there is one more bullish surge on the NSE before prices start declining in April.

You're right Ma.
Bargain investors were picking from observation.
Around this time, I dont expect prices to dip much more lower.
UBA for instance, got to 7.55 before reversing up, it's only the likes of @Peterichy that will be waiting for it at N2.50k and still expect to collect dividend of 70/80kobo by Mar/Apr. grin
Warm greetings from here Ma'am. smiley
Compliments of the season.

No tax is due on the disposal of shares. The cash injection into the distribution business could either be in form of a loan o the business or an equity injection or could be a mixture. It all depends on what you want.

Your response is well noted, Sir.

Gratitude

Thanks Sir, for your response.

The proceeds from the shares sold have been 100% injected into my company via equity option.

What I wanted to know is whether or not I am liable to pay tax on the proceeds of the shares sold.

At the point of selling your shares, govt has already collected their tax from the proceeds of the share sales.
The moment the fund enters your business,it is regarded as shareholder's fund.
Govt can not tax shareholder's fund rather they tax your profit

Thank you Sir.

Much gratitude.
