More like suffocation, it's gst exam na, general studies, like 5 department Inside one hall, each department may have like 1000 students. So imagine 5000 students inside one hall that's not properly ventilated.
That’s pathetic on the part of the school.. when I was in university of Ibadan, we were scheduled on different days & time to avoid situations as this..such a shame that a while university can’t put d life & safety of her students first ...

I think NUC do give limits, but most government owned universities don't follow the instructions

Just to write exams na still death, I remember those GST courses in those days, na the biggest hall in the school we dey take the exams because they are general courses taken by all departments

This op just wrote a lot of gibberish without making any sense. How did they die? Was it from suffocation or stampede? For a general course like GST, all classrooms, lecture theatre, halls, auditoriums, even labs and workshops are used for exams. Anything short of that will cause chaos. Whoever converged all the students to write such exam without allocating enough space deserve to be arrested.

The school fees is not cheap.I think in the entire south east state owned university, EBSU fees is quite expensive.
For a non-indigene ,I paid over a 100 plus for a section for the five years I spent in that school. the school management don't really care and there's no proper planning.I remember my final GST exam was slated for 9 a.m and I got to perm site as early as 8 a.m without eating anything and I wrote that exam around past 5pm. l was lucky because my name was on the system that day. some persons didn't take the exam that day and I'm certain, they came early like I did.
Alot needs to change. I was heartbroken when I saw the videos last night.
