Banditry: IPOB Attacks Lai Mohammed Over Statement by Gemid94(m): 2:50pm On Feb 12, 2021 |
The Indigenous Peoples of Biafra, IPOB, has lambasted Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed for supporting amnesty for bandits while justifying proscription for peaceful agitators. The Minister said bandits cannot be proscribed like the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, because of their lack of identity and affiliation to a group. Reacting, the group in a statement signed on Friday, by its Media and Publicity Secretary, Emma Powerful described Lai Mohammed's statement as "derogatory and disgraceful". The statement read apart; "The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) ably led by our great leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, has noted with great amusement, statement credited to Mr Lai Mohammed, that he supports amnesty for bandits. Lai Mohammed should be ashamed of himself for advocating amnesty for murderous bandits but justifying proscription for peaceful agitators. "Lai Mohammed justified Nigeria's black market proscription of a peaceful movement like IPOB instead of bandits and other terrorist groups rampaging the North and ravaging the South. This is the height of hypocrisy! This latest statement by the Information Minister has confirmed our Leader's position that Nigeria is a nation with no leader. "Nigeria is in bed with terrorists but up in arms against innocent citizens agitating for freedom. IPOB never declared any war against Nigeria or her citizens yet it was unilaterally proscribed and banished by government. But bandits have been on killing spree of innocent Indigenous citizens of Nigeria yet the same government is seeking amnesty for the blood suckers. What a disgraceful irony! http://community.vanguardngr.com/forum/topics/banditry-ipob-attacks-lai-muhammed-over-statement

Speaktruth88: Nwanne, biko no let us fight o. We have said it over a thousand times on this forum that You guys should mind the way you use igbos instead of Igbos biko! We are two different people. Kindly take note Chief SpeakTruth! We true, sane, honest and hardworking igbos rule the world when it comes to genuine businesses, and we are not talking about Igbos the troublemakers, who look for trouble all over the country shouting biafra, biafra. People should please STOP confusing the two together. That is why you can never see any reasonable, sensible, true and real igbo businessman, actors and actress, footballers, musicians, politicians shouting biafra or Igbos. True igbos believe Nigeria is their country and have so much love for the nation. GOD BLESS NIGERIA. 3 Likes 3 Shares

I want to use this forum to plead with his Excellency, the executive governor of Kogi State and all those who have his ears on this platform to prevail on Mustapha Akaaba- the executive chairman of Ajaokuta LGA to pay the salaries of workers he has refused to pay in the last three months particularly those on the clemency list of his Excellency - All. Yahaya Bello. We know the Governor is not aware of this unruly behavior of Mustapha Akaaba, however, the larger populace of the workers are made to believe that this is the instruction from the Governor. Ajaokuta LGA workers have suffered for too long that they can't bear the pang of inconvenience this unilateral action of the Chairman is inflicting on them. Your Excellency Sir, as a Presidential material and candidate, you should not allow any action of any of your appointees or subordinates to give a bad image of you to the masses either at the local, state or national level. I will be expecting a swift response of the governor and I will be back to confirm to the world as soon as the Chairman does the needful. |
