As much as I don't support the government, the situation is hopeless and the protest is needless as well. It's not even about the youth now, but everyone, things are really hard, folks r getting salary cut or sacked, cost of living is sky rocketing, 1k is like 100 naira and our leaders can't seem to be of any help. Brother man COVID is not a death sentence, I had it, defeated it and am back to normal bro.

The severity just differs. Mine was loss of taste and smell and partial breathing difficulties at the initial stage which I took for catarrh but nothing was coming out but the steaming with ginger and garlic gave me a relief after practicing it vigorously for 2 days. They didn't construct the road, they only upgraded it/modified it.
Hence the resistance on the second toll gate, up till now no toll whatsoever on the second toll gate because of the protest then.

Number 2 case was that you only toll a road you built from the scratch, secondly no alternative route because everywhere in the world there will always be an alternative because it's not Everytime one will have money.
That was when and why they had to be scrambling for something to justify collecting tolls and built alternatives.
