Good Day Nairaland, I tried parking my friend's car yesterday night and i without concentrating, bashed it against a piller.

I have be worried since morning and want to fix it before he comes back, he traveled to the village.

Is it something serious, or just the bumper.
And how much will it cost to repair.

Please help a brother.

If you are close to Gowon estate near egbeda Lagos ...I would 've connected you to a qualified panel beater that will fix it like factory follow come. ...so far the two head lights are intact , except you intend to change the bumper .and bonnet ...A good panel beater will fix both bonnet and bumper without replacement.

Infact budget 12k for painting if you intend to paint rough area...and panel will take like 15k ......in fact with 30k. ..you are good to go

must you drive your friend car in the first instance? it is because of something like this i always avoid driving someone else car but if is my own car,if i v=bash it then i fix it at my convenience . the money you suppose to use it to enjoy yourself now will be used to fix car.

less than 20k will fix the car but if na lagos or abuja , you fit spend more ooooo but still depend on location you dey

PS: lesson to other people, don't always rush to drive your friends car, wait till God provide your own for you, if you get your own car and something happened ,you get rest of mind

Don't panic, good panel beater will get it done. It's just a day's job. With 20k you are good to go unless you let the panel beater know that you want to secretly fix it without the owner's knowledge. That's when they will open shop on your head

Oga, Grill can be fixed. No need for replacement

The bumper is still very ok just need pulling it back and Re fixing it bt my concern is the bonnet that bent it’s iron and hard to pull back to factory position. It will show unless u have an expert panel beater. Costs shud be btw 10 to 30k

Bro 5k won't fix that car, even several years i had same experience i paid more than 5k .. Op if you're in lagos visit ladipo .. there are expert that will fix the bumper & touch it paint where necessary then a panel beater will straighten the bonnet, the paint you buy will serve for where necessary. just budget 10k for a neat job

Make a budget of 100k to fix the car BTW who send you message to repark car wey u no sabi drive

Bumper glue...5k bonet..5k...respray bonet 5k. Workmanship 7k..total 47 to 50k max

Na this kind thing u go wan rush paint the bonnet and bumper, the rest of the car colour go dey different from the painted region.


Like someone said, call your friend and explain how e take happen to him.
