Not this one. I understand that it is the same sympathy he is trying to gain. But he failed to realise that Nigeria is not united along any common line. He tried to highjacked the ENDSARS protest to gain the sympathy but more than 60% of protesters protested against him.

This is my point. Mandela was different. He had the whole country behind him, in a United front. Sowore doesn't. The Igbos (IPOB) perceive him in a diffirent light. The yorubas are not behind him, not to mention the Fulanis or Hausas.

He needs to go back to the drawing board and rethink his strategy, especially as he is perceived by some as a western agent sent to destabilise Nigeria (going by his track record and his website that is quick to broadcast anything but bad news about Nigeria).

The ugliest part of this is that no reason is stated for the petition and yet some people are promoting it. On what ground? Hatred?

I also discovered that most of the handlers in the forefront of the campaign are yoruba names.
