clicking a bit? I hope you didn't downgrade the operating system to Windows 7 because some latest system, old operating system won't work well on them because the Soc chip won't make it compatible enough.

As for the driver, they are basic driver needed to run your laptop, immediately you uninstall it, and restart your laptop, it will automatically install back itself.

So don't worry about it, it is there.

After the uninstallation of the ELAN mouse,it keeps installing back and causing the same issue.After several attempt, I'm seeing a PS 2 compatible mouse,and it's working fine for now.
Don't know much about windows 10 and I'm not that techy but I'll try find my way around it.

Go to control panel /programmes and features, see if you will see ELAN mouse there and uninstall it.

You don't even need to install a third party app for this.

I didn't install any 3rd party app.Yes ,I've uninstalled the Elan mouse and restarted the computer severally,it will start working fine.But if I switch off the system and back on,it will re install back on its own.

Hello guys, my hp system's cursor is not moving. The right click and left click button is not working either. I've tried all means I saw on Google, it's still not functioning. I now use an external mouse.

Please my hp laptop has some charge freezing issue, it freezes and mouse won't work well anytime I plug in charger ( so using it while charging is very difficult). I changed the charger but problem still persists. Please how can I solve this headache?

I'll appreciate a good screen recorder software recommendation for it as well.

the track pad is bad, it needs replacement.

Go to device manager, expand the display adapter driver, snap it and send the pic, let's see if it is driven or not or check if the sleep option is available if you want to shut down your laptop.

Get a new RAM? since it displaying on projector then your RAM is OK no need to get another one.

it is not a driver issue either, cos even if you don't have have a display driver installed it won't stop your laptop from displaying.

your external display is OK but internal display is faulty.

fault can be from screen, signal cable of the LVDS section of the motherboard.

So check if your have any dim display when you power it on, point your torch light on the screen and see.
