PARTS OF VIETNAM ON LOCKDOWN AGAIN!!

There is no surge in the numbers and only the originating province and neighbouring towns or specific areas were put on 21 DAYS lockdown starting January 28

Since the new cases which started on the 28th of January,, a total of 375 people have been infected in THE WHOLE COUNTRY. That is hardly regarded as a surge.
Since the pandemic started, only a total of 1967 people have been infected with 35 deaths. Again, this can hardly be called a surge.

Asides schools closing early, everything remains normal of course with wearing of masks and implementation of safety health measures

Nicoswit:
Whyna how you dey take cope with language barrier and dont you get bored abi you don get vietnamese friends nii

Vietnamese were the first friends I had before any other nationality.

No I don't get bored. I speak English daily. There are actually Vietnamese people who speak some conversational level English here.

Right now, visa agents will specifically tell you that they don't process sponsorship letters for AFRICANS again. They give flimsy excuses like telling you the process is now complicating or tedious. The few ones that tell you otherwise are only trying to syphone money from you. Beware!
Now, they cases are plateauing and I don't think even NES are being allowed in at the moment, it's even harder for Vietnamese to come in.
I just hope this isn't subtle or covert racism. We didn't create the virus, why are we the one to bear the brunt?

Those that are in already are the lucky ones.

Those are the people (Natives) they quotes outrageous amount of money for and tell them to work and clear the deficit when they land. Which Nigerian can pay $9k to an agent for sponsorship letter and quarantining alone? You'd pay for your visa and flight separately. I'm waiting for testimony from any African sha. let keep my fingers crossed.

How're you ma'am? Been a while

9k!!!!! wawu. I've seen 4k but not 9k and even 4k is a reap off. You can get all that sorted out for less.

I've been good and bored jare. Schools are closed for the rest of February and may extend till next month or even April. New cases are cropping up everyday and it seems this time, it is a bit harder to control because they haven't traced the source of the first contact and then the wedding attendees traveled back to their abode before the first case was detected.

We would be going back to teach online soon

Maybe I'll do my findings to find the cheaper ones then. It's just hard getting the reliable ones...those prices are too good to be true.

Is it a partial or total lockdown? Teaching online means little stress na grin

I usually advice people to have at least 2M.

With 2M, you can start the process, get here, rent an apartment and have something to fall on for a month or two depending. It would also get you a one year visa and work permit.

If you're getting a 3 months visa, it should be less than that. Maybe around 1.3 to 1.5 M

For 700k, you can do authentication, process a 3 months visa but that's all. There wouldn't be much left to even buy a ticket

Wow. This was barely one year ago!

Now things have changed. Thankful I left when I did

My man how have you been? It's been a while on this thread as man is trying to make ends meet.

But the constant thing i notice is the surge in price from 800k to 2.2mil and a possible 3mil all this attributing to corona.

I just pray this corona of a thing finally disappears, allowing things to return to status quo, Make man fit Japa.

I see ur steady input bro, abeg still remember to put me on alert when you see somthn cheaper.

Vaccines arrived some days ago. As usual, health workers are first in line.

Teachers are amongst the 2nd batch to receive by the second quarter of the year
