From my little experience (and from what I've read on the thread), description doesn't matter. So far the name is good, they'll accept it. I just type the name back in the description box and submit.

Except the name is not self-explanatory, then you can analyze/ describe it.

I used to feel like that sometimes ago even when ikalyfah told me in one of his mails i thought he didn't wan to show me the secret grin

. until my names got approved with just 'cool' 'okay'.
You can also type the name back e.g TayeTaiwo.com description can be Taye Taiwo. No magic. solely depends on the name.
Or define Taye and Taiwo and relate it.
If it's not a dictionary name, then you can highlight the possible applications/uses.

I currently have over 50 premium names (both SH owned and seller owned) on SH. Description doesn't matter when submitting names on Squadhelp. I usually type the name in description box and that's all.
SH approval standard is tough now because the marketplace is getting saturated, and their portfolio of SH registered names is also getting bigger.

To increase your chances of getting names approved on SH, go to through at least 5 pages of names on the SH marketplace. You'll get to understand their style.

When combining two word names, think of
1. Usability
2. Meaningfulness
3. Does the combination flow?

Keep combining. You are coming up.

There's a guy on nairaland, Beckplanet I think, go through his post. He did a tutorial on brandables. I had zero brandables before then. Now I've go+ over 50 premium.

Hello.. great domainers, please it seems I'm getting it wrong with squadhelp when summiting names to them.

All the name I do submit are always rejected but I noticed that some of my names that were rejected are now live on their website.

Like blossomorbit.com it was rejected from me but now live on their site

Also zapdetect.com was also rejected from me and now is on their website. Just to mention but a few

SH is biased and doesn't run a fair or consistent system. That's my observation.

Of course it is. Why reject a name from one person and then accept the name, within the same time frame, from another person? That's not how an unbiased or consistent work is done. We can even experiment here if you want. Give someone with no name in their portfolio a very good name and watch what happens but give same name to someone with over 50 names in their SH portfolio and see the difference. The only argument that could be tolerated is that different persons are assigned to different names and these persons use different parameters for analysing names. If you have over fifty names we can put it to a test. At least three names will do.

Plenty reasons:
1. Like safetim said.
2. Someone submitted those names anything from 3 months after it was rejected and it got accepted. Or it was rejected again when the person submitted it. Then the person requested a review, and wrote a convincing explanation why the domain should be on the marketplace.
I've submitted previously rejected names submitted by others and it got accepted.

3. I remember reading about a rule that when a name has been submitted to a SH contest and shortlisted, and it's submitted for marketplace approval, such approvals might be delayed or rejected. I don't know if this is still in place.

You don't need to write about trademarks bla bla bla when submitting names. See my response above to someone who asked about writing descriptions when submitting names to SH.
