Could US Be Right About These Phones? by Exumal: 7:47pm On Feb 19, 2021
I've been brooding over this issue for s while now. I got 7 around a month ago, about a week after getting the phone my Facebook account was hacked and I've not been able to get it back since then. fast forward to two weeks ago, I took someone to get p9lite. Surprisingly, she told me her Facebook account has been hacked yesterday too. I've been thinking if it was lack of his security patches or data leak? Why Huawei?

Huawei has nothing to do with this, it is your follow Nigerian that hacked your account out of your carelessness. Probably you logged your Facebook account somewhere and forget to logout, you are using simple password that can easily be guessed, or someone knows your details

Maybe, personally i strongly believe that most chinese phones are not save for keeping ones privacy. Just look at what happened last year, apple 14 beta security discover hundreds of chinese apps searching for people's phones even when you close such apps. What more of their phones. Hauwei now has deployed technology that searches for minority tribe uighurs so as to arrest them and render them infertile thereby cleansing them off. I do fear chinese phones these days

Huawei got nothing to do with you using a weak password for your Facebook account.
It's all on you.

Next time create a strong password for accounts you don't want to lose n stop installing apps carelessly.

I use a Xiaomi device and some one tried to hack my Gmail account. I got a lot of messages telling me someone wanted to gain acces to my account and the person's location was China

The Chinese will go that far .. Anybody telling you that this is nothing and that's it's just the handiwork of some typical Nigerian hackers knows nothing about how the Chinese operate on sundry issues.. I support the Chinese on a couple of their fights with the west, but when it comes to hacking, spying, curtailing freedoms in the name of national security and interest, just be ready because to them there are no limits and no untouchable..

It has nothing to do with Huawei. My wife has been using Huawei y7prime for past 2 years now. Nothing like losing any of her social media accounts. She Facebook a lot. She can be on Facebook for more than 8 hours daily. I believe is the way you handle your account. Probably u are the type that uses any device to login ur social accounts. It could also be that wen u lost or sold ur previous fone, u didn't log those accounts out and reset the fone. It has nothing to do with phone brands.

They infiltrated nairaland at some point, spreading rumours about the corona virus deaths prevalent in some states in the US.
