From unical to unical
Try finding out from unical to other places
I paid since Feb last year, till now I'm hearing stories. Who can I complain to again? The VC?

They had issues with past applications but current requests are being processed. There's a backlog, so it will take a while.

If you're in Calabar I could direct you to someone at the registry

Are you sure that this is the case?

Payment expired for a service not delivered?

Wow!
I remember going to collect my final year school fees receipt while doing my clearance. It wasn't there. They now said I should pay 3,500 for a new receipt. On their own incompetency.
I laugh when people blame government for corruption. We're all corrupt. Everybody. One man looking for means to chop the next man.

[quote author=olaoye15 post=99233235]I applied for mine just yesterday. I indicated they send electronically to my receiver. Transcript request has now been made easy, as you there is a platform which works directly with your institution on your behalf. Ext.ng. I paid 8,880 online ( you can only get such deal in OAU) and my payment was confirmed immediately.

I hope they attend to it fast, as I just learnt that NASU are currently on strike. You guys can google

exchange.etx.ng

it fast but can't confirm of it is reliable.[/

my current condition. So frustrating

Whether or not one will need the transcripts, the best thing to do is to apply for it right after you're done with school, applying when you need it, is attracting high BP
I believe u talking about statement of result.in the case of transcripts it is the school u graduated from that will send it to the other school u applied for to continue another programme.

I applied online, paid around 13k via remita and got my soft copy with 10 working days.

My wife paid for her own last year 20k Univ. of Abuja, it was not processed last year because of covid 19 so this year, they said she will pay again that the last year payment has expired.
Imagine. Which kind country be this?

Unn transcript processing is one of the easiest in Nigeria though expensive to an extent since everything is done online.

In my school, you can collect your Academic Transcripts in person, and it cost just 3k. You can as well negotiate with the company/organization you're currently working with, go to your school and ask them to forward you Transcript to your company/organization. Once it get there it becomes yours PERMANENTLY.

etx is just like an errand body. They will alert Records department and if/when records eventually treat their request and process ur transcript, they(etx) then send the transcript through Courier to your destination.
So after applying on etx, go to records at senate to go beg and bribe to treat ur stuff else, OYO is ur case.

grin grin grin My fellow Greatife Alumni, I applied for my transcript on 16th December 2020,uptill now I have not receive my transcript. Ext is pure scam. Right now am trying to know if there's a way I will manipulate it.
Etx is not d culprit. It's the records officer not processing the stuff. Pay to etx and go to school to go bribe. Buy recharge card or look for a staff to assist you in begging. And make sure you chk the student copy well before they send it to etx. They do make errors

Yes it's easy if your file is already digitized. When your file hasn't been digitized, you will find that it can be frustrating. That's why we're here

I can't help but ask why Nigeria Universities charge ridiculous amounts for Transcripts. Imagine Uniben Charging 35,000naira to send a transcript to an email address while a UK University is charging below 10,000naira to send it via post.

Indeed, there was a country!

Perhaps, because Nigerian grads chop and wipe mouth... grin
Unlike with those UK (or the US) universities, alumni of Nigerian universities rarely (if ever) regularly give money to their alma mater.

What you apply for after schooling in Nigeria is called Statement of Result. And it is for you. Schools in abroad call it Student copy of transcript. Everytime you apply for admission, good schools require you to order fresh transcripts from all the higher institutions you have attended. Simple as ABC.

You are right, applying for transcript in public Nigerian schools is not easy. However, private schools may be easy. My suggestion is that you get your WES equivalency for all your degrees and stop going to those useless schools. Do the wahala one time and start sending your transcripts from the comfort side of your bedroom.

Then, pray to God to bless you so you dont study again in Nigeria. It is not worth it. Even you lose your certificate in Nigerian public schools, they willl not replace it. Lol. What a funny way of life!!!

Goodluck!
Please tell more about the WES equivalent. How can I get it?
