Please people of high intelligence and exposure, what can a young man who has never handled more than 300,000naira but by providence now has access to 8million naira, how can he effectively utilize that sum?

Note: I already have the understanding that your suggestion may not be 100% the best and also, this is not fiction but someone's reality.

No insults please, just drop your candid opinion to help someone objectively.

First thing is to put the entire money in fixed deposit of 3 months.

Then you can start researching what to do.

You have to find your way yourself. Seek a business you are sure you can excel in. Then you can start investing from the N8m into the business.

You can also buy good properties to store the money instead of using bank.

Jesus see bad ideas

1. Never invest in high liquidity for the start. Avoid forex, betting, cryptocurrencies etc

2. Do not buy land. You don't have the funds to develop it, it will keep demanding money not generate money

3. Multiply the money first
Ogbomoso investor, how can a land demand money? Land is not a liability like "urgent 2k" gang.

Thanks for insulting.

Be it to build a property of anything, it will keep demanding fees and if he doesn't have the funds to start to finish, lands only retain Montreal value and not necessarily increase it

Go do your studies and less quick to insult especially people who may be more knowledgeable than you. Chicago educated
So, tell me any investment or business that doesn't demand fees at inception.

Can't remember insulting you.

it's obvious you have no idea bout Cyrptocurrency. One thing I've learnt bout crypto is the worse is, you'll get ur money back without adding no profit but pë ur loosing tulee

Op if you're lacking ideas, better still fix like 6-7m in any Bank of ur choice and let bank be giving you commission monthly

I'll pass. Enjoy
At least you still have some dignity by "passing". Most young guys would like to disgrace their lineage by trying to make themselves look stupid on a public forum.

Nice one.

I've been taking note of your attitude recently. My counsel to you is to approach issues like you know not and not like you are there. I told you.

No be me you dey do. I jump and pass. Win the argument. It's all yours
Seems Fulani herdsmen blocked the road you intended to "pass"

Even with the current ban, is that still highly preferable?

Firstly, what do you personally intend to do the with the said funds- Startup a business? Or invest it?
Do you have any skill(s)?
If you intend starting up a business, is it online or a offline business?
Moreover, these are businesses ideas you can startup with your said funds below;

You can startup a fintech platform and be earning hugely as most banks are not reliable and overcrowded these period and many persons are embracing the fintech space in Nigeria.
Although, I don't know your current location, however, Food is constantly essential. You can rent a shop and startup a restaurant, do some billboard advert and can as well digitalize it by creating a website and/or app where people can order and get the food delivered around their area.
You can as well open a bakery. Here in my area, there is only one bakery and the area has a population of thousands of inhabitants and hundreds of shops. You can as well startup yours by employing professional bakers and do your own unique style of baking the bread and do home delivery and you can add ice cream and as well digitalize it to ease the business for you. Your capital is also a good one for starting up a lending business with very low risk having an automated web application for the business and getting your desired return on investment monthly.
You can also startup a food processing business and start with frozen food production. You can also start a private refinery business by starting up a kerosene depot. it's in high demand these period we are.

As regards if you want to go for investment, your best bet is investing the funds with your bank which is more secured but with a low return on investment.
Moreover, you can as well invest on other businesses but be sure you scrutinize it very well.

Moreover, you can join my business networking group to be connected to more opportunities and investment deals. If interested, click on the link on my signature and if the link doesn't works, chat up the number to be added

Best regards
