It depends on the enlightenment of the family. Many Benue men are married Igbo ladies and the families don't demand. Majority of igbos are into money making ventures, they are very responsible.

I am always running into ladies from that state and I often have doubts whether I can meet up financially with marrying one. As they say, when money isn't at home you don't start making plans.

Ensure it's not the first or second daughter, you are getting married to. if you are not financially stable. from the third daughter it's fine

Just like every fuccking African wife. Once you marry African woman, her entire family members start seeing your home as an extension of theirs, strolling in and out of your house without prior notice like they contributed blocks when you were building it.

You are not correct here bro. I have received a lot of help from my wife's brother abroad than any body. Though I don't demand help from him but since she is his only sister the guy they drop steady.
