What did you study in School? Most schools accept a non science degree but it has to be 2.1 but if you studied a science program then 2.2 is accepted. I graduated with 2.2 from a medical line (Human Physiology)

I applied for mental health nursing to several schools, I have gotten responses from three (3) schools out of 7. The 3 schools are all asking for additional requirements, so I don't think its much of a difference. I have abit of experience in the health care section, a 2.2 for BSc, and also another degree in Environment for MSc. lets keep our fingers crossed, hopefully between now and March ending we would have gotten responses from atleast 2 schools. I applied to Bournemouth, Hertfordshire, kingston uni, Plymouth, Birmingham, salford, Lincoln.

Chester gives a discount that reduces the school fees to about 9500 if you are a Nigerian and have a first class.
I hear York St. John and hull are cheap too

From what I have gathered here, since Covid19/lockdown, no interview for Tier 4 visa applicants.

However interviews are now randomly conducted, if clarification is needed.

It is advisable to prepare ahead, so as not to be caught unaware.

PS.
You will however be notified of when you will be having the interview if required.
This interview is usually conducted via telephone calls as well (you and your phone, should be prepared).

Ranking matters big time though it doesn’t mean that people who graduated from lower ranked universities will not get a good job.

How is student life in York?
Do you like it there?

York is an historic city that attracts tourists from all over the world. In terms of diversity, i would say the city is not as diverse like other cities in England but i like it here. So, if you are the type that likes a city with many blacks and Asians then York is not for you.

In respect to jobs, you could easily get a care job that pays about £9 an hour. I am not a student btw.

Pay your 2k deposit (if you have more than 2k, you can pay) to get your CAS.

Please when you want to prepare your 28days bank statement, include the 5k in your tuition balance alongside your maintenance fee.

Abeg ooooo, except it is clearly stated in your CAS that you have 5k discount. Cover letter helps too.

Hull, Northampton, Sheffield hallam, Bradford for some courses after 5k scholarship...Nottingham Trent University...you will need to apply for the scholarships...De mont fort university, Greenwich University you will need to apply for the 3k....University of Salford... you can research others.

An update:
Eventually got someone to help sort out the accommodation. We got a 3bed at Dunfermline @£680pm and deposited £680 as well. The house came unfurnished and I got most of the household items free via FACEBOOK market place and gumtree.

Quarantine ended on Friday, we moved to Scotland on Saturday via train. It was a smooth journey. Hubby was able to pick up all our BRPs. We registered with NHS and I was also able to get an appointment with a GP for Wednesday. I am due at any moment (36 weeks).

So far, the weather no be here sha as I have no shock absorber for cold��

What did your school ask for in your conditional offer ? Aside the £2000 , all the info you need is inside your conditional offer
