oloyedewaris: smile, so uniform dressing to school is not part of the academic activities, well don't expect less from a moslom and if any Christian leader have never raise up to questions all those Islamic public school rules and regulations then why is your MUMURIC finding fault in Christian missionary school. hopeless hypocrite, it now you know it about dressing not academic activities as if where they are wearing the cloth to is not an academic environment. mtcheew. |

shadeyinka: It is the same thing. When Christians protested in Ilorin in 2014, the government confirmed that by grant-aiding the schools, then they were the owners of the school. Vanguard check revealed that the schools were being grant aided by the state government since the year 2006, a development that conferred the ownership status on the government which the Christian communities rose up to reject. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.vanguardngr.com/2014/10/thousands-christians-protest-ilorin/amp/ When you are marginalized over what is rightfully yours, wouldn't you react and protest? Who are those being marginalized? No Sir! But you were the one that started with the demographics by claiming that there are more Muslim principals and teachers in Christian schools. No sir! You are contradicting yourself. In one paragraph, you argued that grant-aiding is not the same as takeover? And now, in another paragraph, you are using the words government occupation Make up your mind!!! It's just like saying that the rosary is just ordinary beads. The rosary is prayer beads. It is not ordinary beads. However, the hijab is not a prayer scarf. It is just a scarf. How are Christians emotionally violent. Can I get a few examples? There are three forms of emotional abuse. Verbal abuse: Christians are always very quick to condemn people of other faiths. They call Mohammed different names. All Muslims are dragged for the crimes of some fanatical Muslims. In fact, you have been guilty of this on this thread. Rejection: Christians are the best at rejecting people of other faiths. In fact, a Muslim is very much likely to accommodate a non-Muslim than a Christian a non-Christian. Gaslighting: They are good at making others doubt their realities. A Muslim is more likely to know the Bible than a Christian the Quran. While the average Muslim may study the Bible to see things for themselves, the average Christian knows very little about the Quran, and would rather believe misrepresented versions. |

Thelife:You are a big fooooooool for saying dressing is part of academic activities, you just proved you are an illiterate So dressing will determine a student academic excellence, Shioor I never knew highly demented people are still on nairaland, your hypocrisy will not allow you to grow brain You said Christians are forced to recite quran in islamic school, i said same applies to missionary schools too, now you're saying dressing is an academic activity So even if dressing is part of academic activities, pulling of their hijab will now make them excel academically, i said it your hypocrisy will not allow you to have sense, bloody fool |

molas02:Ok can you give me example of that Christianity religion dress Look, nobody is talking about religious dressing here, every school has their dress code. The problem is just that teachers should not force a Muslim student to pull off her hijab Mind you hijab is not a religious dressing |

BluntTheApostle:I am well read concerning Islam. In fact I almost recited the Sahada in my University days. I know Islam more than you think. Islam is a VIRUS! Hijab is a mere scarf, then why is it that only Muslims want it enforced! Muslims and Taqqiya are inseparable. If you desire to be a devils advocate, fire on. The TRUTH remain constant. The terms of agreement did not include a takeover of schools by government on behalf of Muslims. The terms of agreement is Grant-Aid, but as violent men, they change the goal post. |

MuchAdo: Was gonna ask the same question! Aren’t there enough gov’t funded or muslim mission schools in the state for muslims who aren’t comfortable removing their hijab to attend? They know the quality of education in the Christian schools are higher, and this is why they want to force their way in! 1 Like |

The Yorubas are starting to feel the hit. They used to brag that they enjoyed peace and peaceful coexistence due to absence of religious intolerance. Now reality has dawned on them. You can't invite the lion as a guest without feeding him with blood. The conquest of Yoruba Land has begun. |
Re: Hijab Crisis: Kwara Is Muslim State, Take Your Mission Schools To Rivers - MURIC by BluntTheApostle(m): 7:09pm On Feb 23, 2021 |
shadeyinka: Hijab is just a head covering that signifies modesty for women. The idea of head covering as a symbol of modesty is still being religiously practised by the Jews and the Muslims. Only Christians have relaxed a little bit. Some churches even allow women to sit in Church without covering their heads. Jewish women don't joke with their scarves. Same with Reverend sisters and mothers. Why do you people only have problems with Muslims? |
Re: Hijab Crisis: Kwara Is Muslim State, Take Your Mission Schools To Rivers - MURIC by BluntTheApostle(m): 7:24pm On Feb 23, 2021 |
OyinO: This is not an ethnic issue. It is religious. Many of the Muslims who attend these missionary schools are Yorubas. |

jumper524: Every school has a uniform for God's sake. It's called a uniform for a reason. It means you're not expected to appear in school in any attire that's not part of the uniform. No addition, no subtraction. The rules are very clear which you must have pledged to obey before admission. Then you get into the system and break the law, then cling to religious right of dressing. To see people supporting this violation is just shameful. Imagine a professor saying Kwara state is an Islamic state and the mission schools in Kwara should relocate to Rivers State.....wtf. How did this guy become a Professor? |

Tranquility4u: You better be sure of what you are talking about. These schools were missionaries schools set up by Christian, while will you want to impose Muslim dressing on Christian School, is that not religious persecution? Now this is another dimension to divide Yoruba land and hand it over to Fulani. Please are all Kwarans Muslim? Yes they may be majority but it doesn't confer on the politicians to start a religious crisis in Kwara. |
