Nigerians and their very short attention span. When the real comments should be why is extortion by the police still going on?

He better make it private otherwise he can be arrested.

If his hands is clean how come he parted away such amount ? But then I thought police has learnt their lessons? What’s has changed ?

Seems you are new in Nigeria.
Wen Naija Police hold u and they are out to make money, there is nothing like my hands are clean.
They come out in the money and set a target of how much they will make that day.
Instead of not making that amount, they will kill anyone that is delaying their target.
If they know u have money, they will threaten to accuse you of a crime and dump u in their cell to die or they will threaten to kill you.
So the only option left for u is to part wt any amount and get free den know how you can fight back to recover what they stole from you.

Your Excellency Sir, am really sorry for disturbing you, but the issue I have in mind, when solved will be a big win to the citizens and for this Administration.
It's the issue of the Dichotomy between HND and BSc.
Sir, His Excellency, The President has in all ramifications done well by removing the Dichotomy between the two certificates, which some agencies have started complying to it with the Exception of the Educational Sector. You can't apply for a Masters Degree (MSc) if you do not first Top up your HND certificate with a Post Graduate Diploma.
Which time duration is from 1yr- 1yr 6months. Extra money and time.
In same vane, someone who tries to do purchase direct entry form to a University After his N.D (OND) Is no way better of because your 2yrs studying and 1yr studying equals to just year in the University as you are placed in 2nd year.
Many can't even transfer to other schools because they are from a Polytechnic or study abroad because most foreign schools do not accept HND.

Sir, I ask for pardon if I have spoken out of line sir, you are my last resort.
If all Polytechnics starts issuing Bachelor of Technology (BTech) or Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) it will be to the merits of the citizens and it will be a big boost of trust with the Administration.
Sir, I would also plead that we take cue from most countries by turning all Polytechnics to University of Applied Sciences.

Thank your Excellency sir for granting me audience. I anticipate your earnest feedback.

This ur statement just shows the level of ur poverty mind set... So a student who trades Bitcoin or into forex can't have such money or what, not to mention other notable legitimate businesses students are doing... So because yahoo boys make big money so other student's who hustle can't make big money too... No worry let police hold u one day and don't cooperate with them because na u clean pass

I am a student, and I know no student will folk out 150k for doing nothing. And if u are doing legit work as a student, u won't just give them 150k of your hard earned sweat. I will prefer sleeping in prison than paying 150k for doing nothing.

Idiot, listen and read carefully, I drive around Abuja, no police officer can stop me and demand for money for whatever reason, because I have a verifiable means of livelihood and legitimate means of identity, so why why would Police threaten to kill me if I don't give him money, if my ways are clean?
U are really too shallow for me to engage. Good day

And what makes you think you'll be taken to a cell? So you haven't heard of extra-judicial killings by the Nigeria police where they frame persons up, have them shot and announce to the public they were armed robbers?

In this case you've several male students together in a car, how easy & convenient do you think it'll be for the police to carry out their threat?
