In 2006 or thereabout, the Muslims students and their parents rose up and told the school they need a mosque right in the school compound because the Christian students have a chapel. That the Muslim students need a place to worship too.
Who ever don't believe this story should take a trip to Iree town and verify. The mosque stands at the front if the school till date. The building is nothing to write home about. You know how shabby they do things.

When the matter almost escalated to war, the Nigerian Baptist Convention, after being consulted by the government decided to give in to the request. So, they carved a space for them to build their mosque near the school gate. And then a mosque was built there. After about a year or two the Muslims extended the land given to them and created a carwash beside the mosque. They are there till date.

Now my question is, is it possible for Muslims to allow Christian Chapel to be built on the land of a Muslim School even if it is a public school?

Everyone knows the answer.

The hijab is meant to be obligatory. What so much inconvenience does an additional covering over the heads cause that a public institution that's supposed to cater for all finds something fundamental to them as that forbidden.
The public schools not allowing hijabs should just write boldly on their notice that the schools are not meant for Muslims...that's essentially what they're saying.

Why can't astronaut or factory workers wear hijab? If there's any reason they can't,then it's for safety reasons.

Ilorin is generally known as a Muslim town. It has been an Emirate since 1823. Muslims are officially in majority. Sharia Court system operates in Kwara State adjudicating over Muslim matters. No non - Muslim has been forced to appear in the court.
Christians established schools to convert Muslim students to their religion. They deny Muslims the practice of Islam in an Islamic town with an Emir and great scholars of Islam. The government in its wisdom took over the schools to protect the interest of all, while it has been financing the running of the schools with taxpayers' money, majority of who are Muslims, and yet the Christians continue to oppress the Muslims by not allowing the Muslims to practise their religion. Do the Christians expect the Muslims to fold their hands and watch their children converted to Christianity before their eyes? That is not possible. Christians attend Muslim schools in the state. They are not forced to wear _hijāb_ in the Muslim schools.


Principals and Vice Principals should no longer be appointed by the former owners of the schools. Loyalty and allegiance of the Principals and the Vice Principals will always belong to whoever appoints them because whoever pays the piper dictates the tune. The government should appoint them as they appoint other teachers to demonstrate that it is the owner of the schools, and that the schools are not jointly owned by the government and anyone, or partially owned with anyone else.

The bolded is misinformation. The crisis in Shasha was as the result of the refusal of Seriki of Hausa in Oyo to handover the murderer to the appropriate authority for arrest. Which, as the result of this, the Hausa began to kill and destroy lifes and prosperities to intimidate their host into submission to protect the murderer in the morning. This happened on Saturday morning and the video of Hausa attacking and destroying life and properties surfaced all over the internet. It was allegedly the GOS of one cantonment watched on as this brazen act was perpetrated and when asked to take control of the situation, he said he only came to protect the Hausas.

Hell was let loose, and things got out of hands after sensing injustice and nepotism on the part of state security. The host remobilized and took laws into their hands to defend themselves and properties.

Unfortunately, in the evening, on the same Saturday, the table was turned in favour of the host community who mobilised for reprisal.

Can you blame them for defending themselves after the state security betrayed them to death?

Suffice to say, these (Hausas) are no innocent people but instigators of the crisis in Shasha.
