I've been having insomnia too, will clock 30 weeks tomorrow. What i do is just close my eyes there on the bed .
It's really painful to not be able to sleep at night

Experiencing same thing too..it's really tiring.i wake up by 2 am everyday And stay tht way the whole day..I decided to convert it to my quiet time with God..can't wait for this phase to pass.

This was my own sign of pregnancy o cos me I can sleep for Africa.When I couldn't sleep for days and a missed period I found out I was pregnant but i endured it for like two weeks and after that I resumed my sleep o. She should just accept it as her package and she won't even know when it will stop

I have this thick nose mask that I've turned to eyes mask. Anytime sleep isn't coming, I just blindfold myself. You can tell her to try it too. Though I think it's part of the third trimester package for some people.

Please this is my first time, my wife is six months pregnant now, my concern for now is

1. She complain of heart burn, what and what should she take to reduce it


2. I don't know when i can take her for scan, i discuss it with her and she said she is scared of the scan.

Any idea i will appreciate.

All Glory to God. It was fast sha and DH is a sharp shooter he must be over the moon. Enjoy your preggy journey.

So I came back today from hospital with a sad face

I was so dizzy yesterday and my hubby forced me to the hospital, I had to run all the plenty test and was scheduled for scan

Blood pt came out positive
But the scan said he can’t really see anything
He was even arguing with me if I am pregnant till I showed him result from the lab

Last week I did scan just on my own in a good scan center, cos I had cramps Nd I was scared of miscarriage as I have experienced it b4 and the sonograper measured it to be 5wks 1day and said everything is ok that they is gestational sac but no fetal pole but he said I shldnt worry that they dnt see fetal pole till 8 weeks


So why is scan center seeing at least gestational sac and hospital is not seeing anything by the way both are pelvic scan

And both urine and blood shows positive

My breast is still heavy
No cramps or pain
No bleeding
Not stressed in anyway


Also no UTI that’s the only good news

Beautiful morning to all the mothers in the house. Please mothers, I need more explanation on what is called "bloody show or mucus plug".

I was about taking my birth yesterday morning when I noticed a drop of blood on my pants, thereafter some pinkish stretchy came out too. I immediately rushed to the hospital, the Doc that attended to me inserted his fingers into my vaginal and said there is nothing to worry about that it is a sign of early labour. He asked me to go back home. Since I returned from the hospital, I have been having serious waist pain( it comes at interval though but very serious).

I don't know if I should go back to the hospital or calm down small.

Like I've read on this thread where mamas answer people with similar issue, they usually say you should try another hospital/scan centre or wait for like two weeks to repeat the scan. Some scans can give one high BP. Pls calm down, all is well.

I think the best thing is to try another hospital/scan centre bcs I know you are so worried and can't wait to repeat scan in two weeks time. Pls be calm and be positive about your pregnancy.
