As we all know, living overseas is very enjoyable but u must pay for those things unfailingly every month

This brings me to my question...

How much do u spend on your bills monthly overseas?

Pls note that it may vary from country to country

As for me, this is my breakdown spendings every month

1: house rent $ 400
2: grocery shopping $ 150
3: electricity $ 25
4: water $ 10
5: internet $50
6: gas $5
7: car fuel $ 50
8: kid school $ 150
7: miscellaneous $ 200

Total $ 1040 monthly

Pls kindly let use know yours because our people in Nigeria don't ever understand and they always demand and demand from us thinking there is a tree overseas that we pluck money from...and they pay their rent yearly o

Location - Ontario, Canada.
1. House Rent =$2,000 (All Inclusive)
2. Grocery Shopping = $800
3. Communication = $450 (Phones + Home)
4. Car Gas = $250
5. Kid’s School = $80/day
5a. One child is in free public school
5b. Had to home school one child to save $80/day until he can get into public school
6. Miscellaneous =$300
7. Home Remittances =$800

Total = $4,600 monthly

Which country ? And is food part of grocery? Don’t they have local markets? What’s your expenditure compared to your income?

With Bell's unlimited Internet access, approximately $125 per month, and an overall best average cost of Internet $66 per month, regardless of brand, I wonder what would make you spend $450 per month for Internet in the same Ontario.

there are local markets but i mostly go there to get meat and other stuffs but not everytime, maybe once in 3 months... but as for the supermarket, i go there at least twice monthly or 3 times sef, it depends

my expenditure compare to my income is ok as i still have some extra cash to play around with...am not complaining lol

as for the country, its one of the most beautiful countries in the world but i can see its quite cheap compare to the few canadian monthly spendings above

Not too much. Living in a good community is great idea and cost more...rent 2000 or more or mortgage 4000 or more such community.

Expenses for one person per month...

1) Accomodation (1 bedroom) - $230

2) Electricity and water - $10-12

3) Everything food including ijekuje- $60 -$80

4) Fuel - I drive a lot - $25 max

5) Internet - $18. I forgot to negotiate internet as part of rent which is the norm here

6) Miscellaneous... more ijekuje and things I don't need -$50

Total -$415
