We need to reintroduce the 75 in a 6x6 for even better off road mobility!

The system fitted to the Land Cruiser features three locking differentials, one at each axle. Locking differentials allow the wheels to spin at the same speeds, increasing traction in off-road situations – add an extra axle and the grip gets even better.
[url]https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.motor1.com/news/363185/land-cruiser-overlander-patriot-camper/amp//url]

The last is an Aussie sectors 76, though. Anyway with a GVW of 5T + we can see a number of variants:
-armoured 6x6 75 Hummer/Land rover type troop carrier
- mobile 81 mm automatic mortar launcher as the longer wheelbase can carry more rounds than the 4x4 seen here
- armoured ambulance
- light AFV with a 14.5

Etc, etc. Guys, the more I look at it the more I WONDER why someone DOESN'T open a production line purely for these variants. With the proven brand name, off road mobility, reliability anyone supplying these vehicles at under 180 k USD WOULD need a triple shift!?

Edit: I ALWAYS prefer to be REALISTIC in recommending weapons and platforms and realised we NEED armour!

Stanag iii level armour to defeat 7.62 NATO and 2a level blast protection under a wheel would add a ton to the weight. Googling shows these silicon carbide plates would cost 30,000-40,000 USD per vehicle.
DOABLE!

SU 30 is not useful for much in contemporary warfare. Ask Armenians. Warfare has evolved beyond fast, high flying manned platform,

Rmbr the Iranian missile strike on US forces in Iraq after the Soleimani killing? RT has the vid and if its real the strikes are accurate. The US should have suffered several KIA.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e7pjCgWxNn8

Were they warned in good time, maybe even by the Iranians themselves? This world isn't as it seems!

Edit: this weekend an Israeli car carrier was hit by 2 missiles transiting the Gulf of Oman. No casualties were reported and the Chosenites are pointing fingers.

The day after US military air strikes against “Iranian-backed militias” in Syria, an Israeli cargo ship suffered “unexplained explosions” as it transited the Gulf of Oman. Investigators are now saying the ship was hit by two missiles launched by the Iran Navy.

Israel Defense Minister Benny Gantz said on Saturday that Iran is the main suspect behind the attack.

“We will need to keep investigating, but we can say for sure that Iran is attempting to damage Israeli infrastructure and to hurt Israeli citizens,” Gantz told KAN. He noted that the ship’s proximity to Iran during the incident has strengthened the suspicions against Tehran.
http://www.thetruthseeker.co.uk/?p=228709

The world is reaching an inflection point:the election steal has created a global political destabilisation that may easily lead to open war.

However, a US defense official later told Reuters that the ship was hit by a blast above the water line that ripped holes in both sides of its hull. If correct, this would mean that it is highly unlikely that the damage was caused by an anti-ship mine.

According to Intelligence sources, the holes in the hull are consistent with a Missile entering one side of the vessel, with debris from the impact exiting the other side. Here are photos from inside the stricken vessel:

The US Navy’s Bahrain-based Fifth Fleet said it was aware of the incident and was monitoring the situation.

One military intelligence source declared bluntly “If forensic evidence conclusively shows this to have been an Iranian Navy missile, things between Israel and Iran will utterly explode very quickly.

Iran already made clear they didn't launch the attack to cause mass casualties.
And Iraq was warned before hand i believe, the US military was also aware that the strike was coming, young military officers were placed in bunker, to preserve the future of their service, about 1k troops were evacuated before the attack. so yea they knew it was coming.
I read this yesterday from the interview the dude in charge of the troops gave

Yep, 60 Minutes was first to air the whole thing. Russia Today used their footage.
I do believe the Iranians sent an indirect warning to the US. They downloaded satellite images of the base from a commercial provider, knowing full well the US would know. They moved their missiles into position in broad daylight, again knowing Uncle Sam would be watching.

I think IRAQ was alerted before the base was hit. They probably wanted to inform USA indirectly.

This is good. I am just pained that that vehicle had to go... I just hope they can salvage the engine and some things out of it... These old land cruisers are really hard to find in the market.
