And it's partially because of media narrations that the ideal is to marry for 'love'; and partially because of insincere men who shame women for behaving in a manner that millions of years of evolution have programmed them to behave. Women have psychologically evolved to go after the best providers; just as men have evolved to go after the most curvaceous figures. Neither trait is shameful, so stop calling women who do it 'gold diggers'. Men should just accept it and internalise it. Also, this modern habit of asking women to co fund a family is wrong. Women are 'helpers' to their husbands, but not in the financial sense. You can't eat your cake and at the same time, have it.
