That would be wonderful. Men would sit all day watching football and chatting with their ex girlfriends; barking an occasional command at the houseboy. Maybe by midday, we can spend ten minutes boiling rice and about ten more minutes warming last week's stew. We can then branch off at ShopRite mall for a beer with our buddies before we go and pick up the kids from school, serve them the rice and stew, help them to do their assignments, watch more soccer until late evening when our wives come back from work, then demand for money for haircut, complain that our car needs to be serviced and the tyre changed, ask them to change the burnt light bulbs, and check the kitchen plumbing. They can then go and put oil into the generator and switch it on before we go to sleep. If our wives ask for sex, we will claim we have been working all day and are tired.
Dammnit, this is the life mehn... cheesy

You may think so, but women are bitching about it so there must be something wrong with it; or with them.

Your language is too dirty and demeaning for a married man.
No woman would be considered fortunate to have a man like you.
Honestly, the more of your comments I read, the more I feel sorry for the women that you're in their lives.
You're not an honourable man.

Excuse me. Did someone tell you I care what you think? If so, he was lying.

NO

There is no usefulness of a sit-at-home husband, definitely not a Nigerian one. If you are lucky enough to see one who would be SUBMISSIVE enough to handle the home and respect the fact that she who pays the piper...., then maybe you can attempt it.

Lol, always resist the urge to expose your emotional deficiencies.
What's your business with the woman/women in his life? cheesy

Are you the standard for all women?

Just because YOU don't like him does not in any way imply there aren't other women (some better than you) who would die for him.
Hard to digest I know, but it's what it is...

And please do remember your advise the other day.

mariahAngel:
Before nko? Who said and decided it was?
Does that even make any sense to you? Learn not to give too much importance to everything you read. (See as you even type am sef like say...)
Just because the line is becoming popular does not mean it makes any sense.

Well! If it isn't the other twin out to defend his twin.... undecided

Emotional deficiencies? Don't you mean emotional excesses?

Anyways, I never get your time...

With the way people advocate for the eradication of gender roles , would women be okay with sit at home husbands ?
I'm as much as he respects and appreciates my efforts to run the home while he is the house husband

In as much as he loves and gives me attention

So far he will guard and protect me before his family

Finally, I will be glad to make the money and he will support my plans

So many men are wearing this shoe and they respect their wives and supporters her dreams yet Comes out in the public and start behaving like a lion but when they get home they become ice water

The o es that are among them that doesn't want the public to know what is going on stays Indoors and plan with their wives and they are the best friends to each other

People laugh at them for being humble and loyal to thier wives but they know that that's the best way to be happy forever with their wives

These days it's even getting more attractive to be a stay-at-home husband...I can cook, clean, and play ps5 all day at home and chill with the hommies. And if she do anyhow, I can file for divorce and get the family house plus alimony and child support. Let the woman go and work while I stay at home abeg...

In this Nigeria?
Get family house and alimony how?

Unless you are talking of western countries, in Nigeria after women divorce they start facing ridicule of being called bad woman that couldn't keep her marriage.

That you see it like this shows why you can't be an efficient 'house husband'.

Why do I have to hate it before I can be an effective house husband? Can't I like my job?

To tell the truth, I couldn't bear it. I can't stay in one place for long, as everyone says I'm too impatient and restless; I have to do something with myself other than sitting at home watching TV (which I rarely ever do). As for taking care of the kids; I find it a nightmare. I can and do bathe them, feed them, train them, teach them things and take them out occasionally, but I can only tolerate their wahala in 30minute bytes. More than that and I'm biting somebody's head off.

My wife once travelled to see her parents for the weekend and left the kids with me. She left on Saturday morning and by evening I was all ready to tear off my clothes and start roaming the streets naked. Up until now, I cannot explain how I managed to struggle through the next day until she came home to take back her brood. If you ask me, I'd rather face the worst workday of my life than to take care of kids for a whole day with no option of dumping them somewhere. That is one task I give full honours to women for...child care.

I truly think that Kindergarten teachers and full housewives should be the highest paid professionals in the world with full tax breaks.

Madame please go and find a floor to sweep or a pair of boxers to wash. If you are kept busy you won't have time to be stalking people obsessively up and down. I've already told you I'm not interested in your opinions and remonstrations. Try to get the message.
