Living cost varies from city to city. Also, a menial job worker wouldn't be living in an apartment that costs 1800 zl monthly I suppose without having a good job.
Nevertheless, that 1800zl mentioned is expensive.

My calculations was for a relatively big city like Krakow. I was just amazed seeing your total monthly cost of living is around 1700 zloty, like, I love your frugality man cool.

With Bell's unlimited Internet access, approximately $125 per month, and an overall best average cost of Internet $66 per month, regardless of brand, I wonder what would make you spend $450 per month for Internet in the same Ontario.
E shock you too abi?

Truly it doesn't make sense to just say somewhere in United states

It makes the information completely meaningless. Rent in NYC is far different to Mississippi. Please endeavour to add your state or province, thanks.

Larrykaysail:

Location somewhere in United state

1: House mortgage 4bed $1950
2: grocery shopping $ depends on need $200+/-
3: electricity $ 80 price not fixed
4: water $ 30 price not fixed +/-
5: internet $60 fixed
6: gas $100 not fixed +/-
7: car fuel $0. Not calculated 3cars
8: kid school $ 0 cost me nothing free
7: miscellaneous $ 200
8. Trash $15

Those who haven’t traveled think living abroad is Disneyland. It had its perks but you also have to bust your azz to pay these bills every single month and when you don’t pay, you get kicked out of your place or the utilities get turned off or they even come and take your car.
Living abroad comes with the stress of maintaining yourself monthly. People borrow money so they can take their annual trip back to Naija just to floss and flex then they spend the rest of the year or more paying that bill.

And you think people in Nigeria don't work equally as hard to pay their bills? Don't even get me started about the landlords with their crappy structures.

To anyone who thinks abroad is stressful, care to come back home? cool

Feeding: 750 USD per month
Children School fees (International School): 600 USD per month
Electricity, water, water : about 500 USD per month
Miscellaneous: 500 USD

About 4,350 USD every month

I moved back to Nigeria and here is the expense in Nigeria
Rent: 1.7 million NGN per annum (141,000 NGN per month)
Children school fee: about 900,000 NGN per term for 2 children in Primary School (School fee of about 460K and private home lesson of about 440K) which is about 225,000K per month
Feeding: 250,000 NGN
Family support (money given to family member): 300,000 NGN every month
Salary of house help: 50,000 NGN
Miscellaneous: 200,000

Total monthly expense : 1,166,000 NGN per month

Note: family support can get to 500,000K in some months depending on situation.
Nigeria no easy oooooo

You live accordingly to your level, you pay more because you want to live big and willing to pay for the luxurious life. If not in Nigeria and in some State you can get an apartment between 300k to 600k per year, I mean nice one

You are right, something is missing, how can he be paying $400 for rent living with his family. Even shared room is about $500 to $600 and 2 beds basements are as costly as $800 to $1000. Though we dont know the country, am sure not North America.

Absolutely smiley

This make more sense than the guy in Ontario claiming $450 for communication, $800 for groceries. I can see that yours is a family of four. I lived in Calgary for couples of years before (as family of 4) and stayed few months with a friend in Toronto, Ontario during my grad school.days.
