If your bukka don't reduce the amount of stew they pour ontop your rice, the quality of the stew go reduce.

#2000 gas refill lasts me 2 months.

#12,000÷48 times = #250 per cooking which is about 5 plates. 1 plate = #50.

#2500 ÷ 8 plates of stew = #312 a plate. NB Meat alone is #1500.

#2000 ÷ 60days of usage = #33 per cooking. 1 plate should be about #6.

So 50+312+6= #368 a plate for my own cooking.

Average cost of a plate of rice outside = #500.
So OP home cooking is still cheaper and more satisfying no matter what.

A plate of Eba is ₦1,200 in my area.

Cooking at home is way cheaper than eating out.

When I was staying with 2 friends, cooking at home was way cheaper. But when I started staying alone, after some calculation, I noticed it was at best the same cost cooking at home, never cheaper.

The only way it might be cheaper to cook is when u have a refrigerator and u prepare stew in bulk during weekends and only boil rice and make morsels everyday. That way, the cost and stress is reduced.
