It's always been their way since.
Someone always punch from the back, when you're not looking.

The one selling to you will punch the prize, put the nuzzle and notify you to check the meter. Before you know it, he will come stand next to your door, in a position that will block you from seeing the meter.
You'll not suspect anything cos he's not touching the machine. But someone will just punch the amount you're buying from the back and that's it.

It's been pretty long I got cheated buying fuel. And I'm not sure they can ever cheat me again.

The best way to avoid this is to maintain your eyes on the metre from start of sale to finish. Never look away.
Sacrifice that 1 or 2mins.

It is well... He probably has used that trick on people several times...

Really?!! That was actually my 1st experience with this kind of cheat. I've said it the next time anyone of these fuel attendance tries any nonsense again I'll make that person pays with his job.

Can you imagine! One be buying fuel N162/ltr and still get cheated. A whole 1k o that would fetch me about 3k net na him one person won play me maga

Boss, you of all people should understand that some of what was taught in those training classes is quite different from what is obtainable on the streets of Lagos. I lost N500 TWICE using the "trip did not happen" option. In both cases, the N500 was added to my earnings and the commission was deducted.

Since then, I learnt that the only time I wouldn't collect money from riders if they intend on cancelling the trip is if I've not already started the trip. In fact on some occasions, some riders would just give me N500 for the stress of coming to PU.

Yes on one man dash me 5h one day like that and ask me to cancel. Even as I told him he would still be charged by Uber if I cancel he said no problem just for disappointing me n my stress... I just looked and thought in my mind "which human being be this" grin I simply cancel n asked uber not to charge him.

You can see the metre from both side in every Mobil filling station.
So many other stations are also like that.

There are no hard and fast rules as regards how much you will make

It depends on a lot of factors :

1. number of hours you can commit;

2. level of experience ( a rookie can't make as much as a veteran) ;

3.where you are resident island/mainland ( trips are more frequent on the island than the mainland, by extension, it means more earnings for

Can a rookie earn at least 60k a week full time on the island?

Fuel Attendant New Cheating Trick.

I went to Mobil filling Station, Abule Egba this morning to purchase fuel 5k. The sell normal price @N162/ltr.

The young guy programmed the pump at N5k and started selling, I was with my son in the car so I didnt border stepping outta the car, nevertheless, I was watching erratically. The young guy was standing close to the pump counting the money on his hands and I could see the pump at 3800+ and I looked away, the next seconds I looked I could see this attendant guy punching something from the other side of the pump and on my own side of the pump I saw 5000 blinking with a dash (- - - -) on the place where the amount of litres is been displayed. Immidiately, the guy quickly removed the nozzle and the closed my tank and came to ask for money. All of this happened with seconds.

I was like, anh anh, watin happen? That thing show 3800+ just now how come 5000 con dey show all of a sudden.

Knowing I've caught him, he quickly put the bpame of NEPA that they change light thats why.

I then said, so if them change light na him you c9me close my tank? Already i don step out of the car, open my tank and asked him to complete my fuel. As he removed the nozzle again to complete the fuel the initial sale pop up and it was N4,054. All this while during the conversation that 5000 and the dash lines where still blinking o.

I was like wow! So this is new trick you guys do to steal from people.

Guys be watchful when dealing with these guys they're all thieves.

Happy Sunday♥
Everybody na thief, na person wey dem catch be barawo.

Sometimes, i use to think, we are even worse than our thieving leaders, only say, opportunities never dey to display our own thieving skills.

How can they be working on Bonny camp bridge and still want to close down falomo bridge. The only two routes to VI, that's how they closed third mainland bridge while Eko bridge was still shut down. Horrible people
Na today you just dey know? They will make u suffer so you will know they are working, inconsiderate and visionless leaders.

Security Alert!
Coming from a first hand experience.
if you happen to do late night trips like me please avoid using the designated u-turn around the second toll gate. that's the toll gate between chevron and ikota as I suspect some unscrupulous element had poured something there to make your Car slide over thereby making you have an accident and in the process, they rob you. just to confirm my suspicion, I witnessed another accident this morning right on that spot. I was lucky not to have damaged my Car last night there.

I carried a Jamaican Lady raised in South Africa with a clear foreign accent. Na so she share her experience with a bolt driver. She is based in Ogbomosho but I think she runs the restaurant at Farm city Lekki so she goes back once a week. she should be in her mid 40's or less.

She ordered a bolt ride and the first thing driver said was that he liked white , she's light skinned. she was surprised at the statement but shoved it away because he was driving a white car. so during the trip they started gisting, they also stopped at KFC and she got a meal for herself and the driver. Got to destination.

Her nightmare started. The driver turned to a stalker, calling at odd hours, sending WhatsApp msgs, asking for a hookup and all, it got so bad that she had to call bolt even informed her embassy because she has been kidnapped before. She even had to ask one of her very top ranking police officer friend to pose as her husband to make the guy back off. The guy told the officer that his wife is fine na, if person no toast am problem dey na, that the officer should f*ck off.

The lady said, normally she be Jamo and she be real werey but this man behaviour, she fear. I just concluded to her that the man obviously has mental issues and that it's people like him that make riders give bad reviews about bolt drivers. The driver was in his 40's as well. The gist shock me sha, though e dey happen steady

I agree with you, some riders are inconsiderate.but some are superb. I picked up a girl from her street in dolphin last week, destination her office in VI. Immediately I picked her and I started the trip, she got a call from her colleague that she's at Dolphin gate to pick her, so rider needed to tell told me drop her at dolphin gate for her to join her colleague, and thats like 2 minutes drive after starting the trip. She told I can leave the trip running after dropping her at dolphin gate so I can make equivalent of the money if I had drove her to V.I because it was a Card trio . I thanked her. I dropped her at dolphin gate, she joined her friend. After 3 minutes, I ended the trip because I wanted to be considerate too.

Something may have transpired during their conversation that probably urged the guy on: just saying. On the other hand, like you've rightly said, the dude might as well be a psychopath, someone who is seriously disturbed. But she can easily block him off.

Which part of Ogun State do you reside? If it's no where around Sango or Sango itself or Ibafo I'd advised you just forget it because you won't be able to be making it home on a dailys after hustle base on
1. Distance
2. Bad road which will kill your car
3. Curfew starts 12midnight in lagos so no night life even if there is crime rate has increased after the endsars last year so its not really safe working late night.
4. Your body go hear am due to long travel dailys.

So your best bet is to rent out the car to someone that resides in Lagos and that will be faithful because he will have to do all maintenance and repairs while you two make plans on how to meet at least once monthly so you see how well he's maintenance the car.

Strictly business it's 25k weekly.

But for sake of convenience since you live outside of lagos State, I would advice you do 20k weekly while the driver take care of all repairs and maintenance to aviod stories because if you say you want 25k while you take care of maintenance and servicing the day the car develops a fault how quick would you be available to attend to it? Down time will start counting (me I dont pay for days car is broken down by mechanical faults especially if it takes more than 2days to fix). You know there're lots of things I cant really explain by typing.

Lastly, before you give the car out for rent make sure you fix any problem the car might have, change the oil, breakpad, AC air filter, top gas, attend to all dents, replace worn out tires and clean the inside very well. Put a local security on the car, renew papers, get heckney permit (3/4k) then you're good to go. If you can do all of these and car is in good shape you can guve 25k weekly a try and see how things goes in the first 2months.

Feel free to contact me privately for more heads up. I can help you get somebody if you dont mind or better still manage it for you but na me go dey collect that 5k be thatgrin (na workshopgrin)

Good luck
