If using your intl license, it's only valid for 12 month's, from entry date stamped on passport (your passport would be required, if stopped). If police cannot obtain details from immigrations database.........

To insure your car with a PL, you would need a full UK license holder (3 years experience), to accompy you all the time (L plates must be on the front and rear of vehicle).........

Your last question, already answered in my 1st response......

NB : I am not sure if your holding a PL, invalidates your IL..... Make further enquiries........ cheesy

Yes it invalidates your insurance because it’s not a full UK driving licence. Also when driving with a PL you need an experienced driver by your side and fully displayed LPlates.

Yes it does, once you get the provisional, it invalidates all other licenses

Thanks guys for the response.

It's useless then getting a car without the full license.

Does do your own thing ...means short cut that can lead to trouble. ....

You do know UK is good at record keeping when it comes to breaking laws and even things like ILR has a section that can be affected in terms of good characters.

E easy to advice wrong thing but sadly when wahala starts na only person go carry the heavy cross.

Na some of these kind people now, when Police stops them and ask for their Insurance and licence, they will jump on to social media to cry 'Racism'... 'they stopped me because I'm Black'' bla bla bla....

even somebody that have been to prison with bad record gets ILR as he meets other criteria or give reference to anyone you know that have been denied ILR owing to your claim and not hearsay. I am not advising people to engage in criminality but the way you guys portray the system to be is not like so. The Uk system is built on lies and deceit. I know this is a faceless forum everybody get he own thing.

The entire point is that someone come here to seek the right information but instead you gave him misleading information. O wrong now.

It's not useless ó....... If you have a drive (if parked on a private drive, does not require insurance, mot or tax).......

You can buy it, park it on your private drive, snap pictures with it, wash start, warm it every morning, afternoon and night.......

And just start to imagine what you would do, once you grab that UK license (it might be a point of contact and motivation)....... grin grin wink

That advice would have been valid, about 20 years ago......

Then, the police database was never linked to MOT, insurance, DVLA & Road Tax.......

People got away with murder...... But in today's world of shared database & ANPR......

No escaping....... tongue

Are you aware having British passport or ILR won’t stop the HO deporting criminals to there original country of origin?

What is the path to using the CISA certificate for IT audit in the UK?

Thanks.

If you've quality experience in systems audit in Nigeria with your CISA, most big 4 will grab you. Quality experience is at least full senior consultant with around 4 years, with ability to lead projects.

Sadly, Shamima Begum was a test case, and the government won. Unfortunately, this makes us second class citizens in this country.

This doesn’t bother me one bit , I’m happy that the government won. She was old enough to know that joining ISIS was a deadly decision.

I have no sympathy for her at all or anyone that takes path

Imagine doing all that and government allows her to come back then put on benefits while we work and pay her to sit at home planning another attack?

It may be very easy to switch as a financial auditor all your life and want to be IT Audit because you got a CISA certificate with no experience as a CISA.

Best bet will be to move to the UK as a financial auditor, so some time and then make the switch. My opinion.
