It doesn't reduce your chances. Some got paid 1m while others got higher than what they applied for and vice versa.
Yes, a colleague applied for 500 and got 270. If you're applying just go above 800k.

You can't apply for more than the maximum amount for household category...it won't submit.

If you apply for example 800k, it doesn't guarantee that you will be paid that 800k...it only means you might be qualify for something like 450k or whereabouts but some other factors unknown to me will still be looked into by the loan officials.

If you happen to apply for 400k...you will be qualified for loan of about 270k or whereabouts

That is how it works in the previous application process

Are you talking of the survival fund.
For payroll, The payment are done in batches.some employee of same organizations recieved payment different date base on the previous experience.
