both of which are out of ignorance if you ask me.

As long as the car is from year 2003 and above and it has been converted, Uber/bolt won’t reject it.

. Don’t behave like a felicity, always be cool headed and have self control. No matter how riders behave, abusive or rude just fix your eyes on the money.

. Try to be unique in ur approach or something different (I’m not saying ass lick dem but do things dt will make dem say waoh u different or I can’t believe drivers do this ).
. Your car should be neat, AC and music on point.

Don't you know if he were in an organized country, he would be in prison now, even if it would be only for 3months?
We condone so much evils in Nigeria, and that's why evil things keep happening.

He that's without sin should cast the first stone.
Give him a chance to explain himself, if it's clear beyond all reasonable doubt that he has no intention of returning the money then you can report him.

Let not be hasty to judge people like that.

It's not everybody that's in kirikiri that's criminal or guilty of the allegations.

Bros no vex o, but you said they should give him a chance to explain himself that he collected the fare for a card trip? I don't know about Uber but Bolt would write it clearly that it's a Bolt payment, don't not collect cash (something like that sha). So why would someone in his right senses do that if not that his village people are after him. And they've even been calling him for days now and he's yet to repent of his sins Abeg o...

Left for me, that kind of case shouldn't even be brought here. I'll have reported him immediately to Bolt and my money would be refunded. I no get time for nonsense abeg.

I know say my own dey always dey different but I go talk my own.

The moment that guy blocked your wife's number was when you should have reported him and have him hauled off the platform.

If I were you, even after he pays, I will still report him and get him thrown out.

Bad drivers like that are the ones giving us a bad image. We should not have any pity on them.

Got a trip to one of those God forsaken areas, the trip for make sense but if I try it, na empty things coming back.

I wanted to convert it to an offline trip but I remembered the guy who said he was blocked by bolt for requesting an offline trip so I decided to apply wisdom.

Called rider and told him I won't be able to go because I won't get a rider on my way back. Guy said he'll just cancel.

The plan was to see if he'll ask us to go offline. He didn't and who knows, I might have just doged a serious hammer from bolt. cool

I don't think uber or bolt cares if the car is converted. My Mitsubishi Lancer came in from UK and it was converted and driven on Uber/bolt. Sold it in 2019 to a guy who still drives it on uber/bolt.

Brought in another golf and currently converting it. Am certain it will pass inspection easy peezy.
Just ensure the conversion is done properly.

I agree with virtually all you said except the bolded. Some clients are toxic and you should do away with them.

Once I notice a rider is the very toxic type, I walk you out of my vehicle.

If most drivers who got dragged on twitter and eventually blocked from bolt had ordered the rider out of their vehicle at the first sign of trouble, maybe they would still have been hustling on bolt.

My second day of this hustle, same thing happened to me, picked a girl from fola agoro to lekki phase 2, trip ended 3500, she paid and left, I did same too, she called layer on to tell me it was card trip that she has been debited already, I told her to chill as I don't even know card or cash trip then, I parked safely, checked her ride and saw it was card, I called her to text her details which she did and I sent her back her money, this thing is very easy walahi.

they will just rant and rant and get tired. some of them will even apologize or try to make up before the drop.
some will even be saying why are you not talking again and bla bla... na jazebel dey wan ruin your day.
my ratings on uber has been constant 4.92
bolt just dropped from 4.88 to 4.82 and then back to 4.89
I will never go confrontational with any rider, I'm here for the money and not fight.
if you like call me your driver and all it will only last for the duration of trip, once i drop you, its over, its not written on my head.

I once shared how a lady abuse and insult me until her friend asked her to stop that its enough, she later gave me extra money and wants me to come back for them. if I had walked them out , i would have messed up my own day and probably go home.
But when rendering services like this, 15yrs old customer can talk to you anyhow no seniority in this biz.

I should not be saying this in a public forum but if its going to keep putting bread on someone's table, I guess I have done a noble thing.

The thing with staying active on bolt is to outsmart them.

Guys, get another phone and open three bolt rider accounts.

Once your client did not show up goes above 20-22%. Book yourself two times from each of the rider account and cancel.

It will raise your passenger cancelled and reduce your client did not show and you have enough leverage to slide arrive and cancel as many trips as you want with client phone number is unavailable or client did not show.

Other advantages to having multiple rider account is that you can use it to boost your ratings and also to meet your bonus targets.

PS: Note that you must not cancel more than 5 times in 24 hours else you'll be blocked for one day, then one week and indefinitely.

Funny thing is, most of them are very happy to come down. One told me she can't be paying me and still be begging me to carry her. grin
