Thank you brother. I am from Bayelsan and a biafran. My uncle was equally killed by a Nigerian officer after fighting on the side of Nigeria against Biafrans. His crime wàs that he shielded Nigerian soldiers from killing our clan men who were fingered to be sympathetic to the Biafran course. He was killed just àfter the war ended and he was preparing to return home. That young man was the most important and exposed member of our family. With him a lot could hàve gone well for us. He is the reason why my family lost our oil filled lànd.

Thank you for this enlightenment. The Igbo's are damn too selfish for my liking.

ARE YOU A BIAFRAN?
Those who arrested and sentenced Isaac Adaka Boro to death for declaring Niger Delta Republic were neither Hausa-Fulanis nor Yorubas but two supposed brothers of his and Biafrans named Odumegwu Ojukwu and Aguiyi Ironsi who were still on the side of Gambaris and still trying to please them as at then. For declaring Niger-Delta Republic Ironsi, the then military head of state, ordered Ojukwu to get Isaac Boro arrested for treason.
Ojukwu, in an attempt to please Gambaris, fought Isaac Boro for 14 days within which he used federal might of “one-Nigeria” to kill 150 soldiers loyal to Isaac Boro, caught Isaac Boro, stripped him naked and sent him over to Lagos where Ironsi charged him to court and within just 2 months got him convicted, at the Supreme Court, of treasonable felony of trying to break away from Azikiwe’s one Nigeria, got him sentenced to death by hanging. While Ironsi and Ojukwu did all that to Isaac Boro, they left untouched their own Igbo brother soldiers who planned a coup with which they killed Innocent Hausas, Yorubas, Niger Deltans, Middle belters leaving Igbo politicians unharmed despite they, like Zik and Okpara, were part and parcel of the corrupt Balewa government.
However, before Ojukwu and Ironsi could execute their sentence on Isaac Boro God intervened and the counter coup happened. Ironsi was overthrown and killed. Gowon took over declared Isaac Boro innocent and released him. But just fifteen months later Ojukwu too declared Biafra Republic due to the way Igbos were being killed in the North. In declaring Biafra, rather than first apologise to Isaac Boro for what he earlier did to him and then ask for his cooperation in fighting to realize the Biafra dream, Ojukwu did nothing like that but without consulting Boro at all went as far as arrogantly including in his Biafra map the very Niger Delta areas which Isaac Boro earlier tried to pull out of Nigeria and which he (Ojukwu) nearly killed him for.
This angered Isaac Boro and Ken Saro Wiwa who both pledged support for Gowon in order to teach Ojukwu a bitter lesson for his arrogance and dishonesty. That was why Isaac Boro and Saro Wiwa fought on the side of Gowon during the war. Naturally Isaac Boro couldn’t have come out of prison to join the Ojukwu who jailed him and fight against the Gowon who released him. It would have been absurd. No rational human being does that.
This is the truth of what happened and which Igbos hate to hear but prefer to blame everyone else as if they themselves were 100℅ innocent.
Igbos must learn to say the truth because if the Biafra/Niger Delta Republic they now seek is founded on lies and deliberate falsehood, like Nigeria, it will not stand but will soon become a failed state like Nigeria. We can’t leave Nigeria for another Nigeria.
But we however know that Igbos allergy to truth is incurable, therefore Niger-Delta states will never be part of Biafra

You are the one that is of course dumb and allergic to the truth. If you're not a wayward child, go ahead and tell us what happened in 1966. If you really think the tribe you're defending was suffering marginalisation in the nation's military then what was the hierarchy of officials of the Nigeria Military shortly before and after independence in 1960? And the real motives behind the bloody coup in all sincerity? Go ahead and avail us with all the officers involved. Why were these bloodsucking officers not stopped in the act of their gruesome bloodshed until they finally and successfully carried their plans out? Why were certain people in the same government being wiped out spared? Why was it that it was at their various points of return they were rounded off? Why did the men who benefited bothered to sentence those officers and made them pay for their actions until after the northerners carried out their counter-coup??

Be deceiving yourself like you guys have always done! The fact that I refused to mention names and e still dey pepper you for body has gone to show how selfish and bias your kinds are...

Better deactivate your account!

The fact Aburi did not make provisions for the ethnic minorities within the defunct eastern region was enough reason to reject it, that trash was all about Igbo ethnic bigotry, greed and selfishness. It was not meant to make Nigeria better, it was meant to make room for the Igbo to feed fat on other people's land and resources.

You see how wicked you people are in changing narratives out of hatred for Igbo? No wonder someone said that Nigerians will always unite due to their hatred for the Igbo man. The same divide and rule tactic against today's Nigeria is what you guys want to apply for a potential Biafra. It will not work. Gowon only released Adaka Boro to create disunity among the Biafrans. Later, was it not the same Fulani that Boro fought for against Biafra that killed both him and Ken Saro? Keep fooling yourself. Only if our people would learn history instead of pressing phones. No one would teach you who your real enemy in Nigeria is.

God bless you. Adaka Boro's declaration of Niger Delta Republic had nothing to do with Ojukwu and Ironsi on personal level. That was February 1966. It is hatred for Igbo and fear of Biafran unity that they are still fighting.

Gowon released him from prison, a day before declaring war against Biafra so that there would be no unity among Biafrans. They finally killed him after using him against Biafra.

The Niger Delta Republic declared by Boro had no Igbos in it. There is a difference between the Niger Delta Republic declared by Boro and the actual definition of Niger Delta. That declared by Boro was made up of Bayelsa and Ijaw areas of Rivers State that were part of Eastern region then.
. Good, so what happens to igbos in Delta and Rivers State if your new Republic comes to life, I really think we need to talk the truth about the past, strengthen the present and move into the future with a better plan and understanding, please note and tell your brothers that the igbos are not interested in your oil, we can pay for it, the coast also can be paid for, just the way we have bought all over Lagos. Aburi Accord was the best truce this nation would have had for a better footing towards self independency & governance in an already bastardized country following the two bloody coups of 1966 but the northern region thinks it is clever by half in mounting the saddle & tried to forced it on everyone. What is the story today?

It is foolish to present the so called Aburi Accord as a Declaration accepted by all Nigerians even without its distortion here, Aburi accord was as illegal and illegitimate as the killer military coupists that made it. They had no mandate to make any such agreements for Nigeria. And If you insist that Military Government has the mandate to make such agreements , you must also agree that another Military Government has the mandate to quash it. Period. Such agreements cannot even be made by a democratic National Assembly. A referendum is required. I’m not aware that Aburi was a Nigerian referendum.

You have internet, yet you cannot find the truth for yourself but believe a lie because one idiot wants to cause disaffection among people that have lived in peace for hundreds of years? I served in Ijaw land. These are people that have married Igbo for centuries. So Fulani cannot love an Ijaw man more than Igbo as seen with Adaka Boro and Ken Saro Wiwa.
