hollah123:Not that I support all Nnamdi Kanu's methods of agitation, but if after listening to the guy's command of English language and knowledge of history you still conclude he did go through some reasonable degree of certified education, then I can't help you. |

Jones4190:Hadn't it been I actually have done what I call overly extensive research on this fore mentioned historical topic some years ago when an Igbo neighbour of mine and my former history teacher got me interested in it and been able to discuss and talk with a few people who were around this time period I would have said to myself "this is nothing but the truth" but true journalism is objective and not subjective hence my audacity to call this fictitious , your write up has no grounds. |

caracas:You are the one that is of course dumb and allergic to the truth. If you're not a wayward child, go ahead and tell us what happened in 1966. If you really think the tribe you're defending was suffering marginalisation in the nation's military then what was the hierarchy of officials of the Nigeria Military shortly before and after independence in 1960? And the real motives behind the bloody coup in all sincerity? Go ahead and avail us with all the officers involved. Why were these bloodsucking officers not stopped in the act of their gruesome bloodshed until they finally and successfully carried their plans out? Why were certain people in the same government being wiped out spared? Why was it that it was at their various points of return they were rounded off? Why did the men who benefited bothered to sentence those officers and made them pay for their actions until after the northerners carried out their counter-coup?? Be deceiving yourself like you guys have always done! The fact that I refused to mention names and e still dey pepper you for body has gone to show how selfish and bias your kinds are... |

Nigeriabiafra82:Better deactivate your account! The fact Aburi did not make provisions for the ethnic minorities within the defunct eastern region was enough reason to reject it, that trash was all about Igbo ethnic bigotry, greed and selfishness. It was not meant to make Nigeria better, it was meant to make room for the Igbo to feed fat on other people's land and resources. |

Jones4190:You see how wicked you people are in changing narratives out of hatred for Igbo? No wonder someone said that Nigerians will always unite due to their hatred for the Igbo man. The same divide and rule tactic against today's Nigeria is what you guys want to apply for a potential Biafra. It will not work. Gowon only released Adaka Boro to create disunity among the Biafrans. Later, was it not the same Fulani that Boro fought for against Biafra that killed both him and Ken Saro? Keep fooling yourself. Only if our people would learn history instead of pressing phones. No one would teach you who your real enemy in Nigeria is. |

WriterX:God bless you. Adaka Boro's declaration of Niger Delta Republic had nothing to do with Ojukwu and Ironsi on personal level. That was February 1966. It is hatred for Igbo and fear of Biafran unity that they are still fighting. |

franklingud:Do not be a fool my friend. That is a Fulani man's writeup trying to cause disunity among Biafrans the way they did in 1966. Adaka Boro was both jailed and killed by Fulani, not Igbo.. Gowon released him from prison, a day before declaring war against Biafra so that there would be no unity among Biafrans. They finally killed him after using him against Biafra. |

Oghene1st:. Good, so what happens to igbos in Delta and Rivers State if your new Republic comes to life, I really think we need to talk the truth about the past, strengthen the present and move into the future with a better plan and understanding, please note and tell your brothers that the igbos are not interested in your oil, we can pay for it, the coast also can be paid for, just the way we have bought all over Lagos. It will Favour the ijaws and other riverine communities more if igbos can replicate what they are doing in Lagos down here, it is a win win for you guys, think out of the box, our enemy is a common one. |

Racoon:It is foolish to present the so called Aburi Accord as a Declaration accepted by all Nigerians even without its distortion here, Aburi accord was as illegal and illegitimate as the killer military coupists that made it. They had no mandate to make any such agreements for Nigeria. And If you insist that Military Government has the mandate to make such agreements , you must also agree that another Military Government has the mandate to quash it. Period. Such agreements cannot even be made by a democratic National Assembly. A referendum is required. I’m not aware that Aburi was a Nigerian referendum. |

Spy360:You believe a liar because you cannot research.. This is why they say if you want to hide anything from a black man, you write it in a book. You have internet, yet you cannot find the truth for yourself but believe a lie because one idiot wants to cause disaffection among people that have lived in peace for hundreds of years? I served in Ijaw land. These are people that have married Igbo for centuries. So Fulani cannot love an Ijaw man more than Igbo as seen with Adaka Boro and Ken Saro Wiwa. |
