Wow. Some people sha. Is there anything wrong in the question he asked. He wasn’t even rude about it. A lot of us are also asking the same question. This is a forum where we ask questions and receive info. So why are you attacking him for doing just that?

Leave them. Last week I was connected with a direct source. He said I should pay 2m for CBN. He collected my cv and said if I don’t trust him, I should pay the 2m after my appointment letter is out and Iv confirmed if it’s genuine. He trusts the person that connected us and he knows that there is no how I can run away with his money. I just thanked him, gave him the cv and came home to chill. So apl without upfront payment is very possible.

I just got an insider information about FIRS. It’s just an info I got. No way to verify but I believe the person. He said FIRS has not recruited anyone and might likely not recruit anyone. As he’s talking to me, the organization is in deep shit due to lack of money. Some of their allowances self they are not sure that they would get it cuz of no money. Their target as at last month was supposed to be 45% but they were only able to recover 24%. He said the chairman caused all these. In a bid to please people in the last recruitment, he recruited too many people hoping the fed govt would increase their something I have forgotten the word he used but they were supposed to increase the something to 7% but uptil now it’s still 4%. so the ones he recruited before were just too much and paying salary is going to be a big problem especially if he recruits anyone again. Chances of recruitment right now is very very slim. But he said nothing is impossible. But not to put too much hope for now. the chairman is trying to clear the mess he is in. Recruitment is the last thing on his mind.

This is true. My friend got a job as a lecturer since last year. He hasnt been captured uptil now. He has started his maters in another university until fed govt is are ready to call them.

From observation, I can tell boldly that recruitment in the universities needs approval from office of the head of service and certificate of clearance (compliance) from FCC.

As it stands, the office of the head of service of the federation is not entertaining recruitment in universities.
Even those that got in last year have not been captured (IPPIS), I stand to be corrected though.

Except provision is made for in the 2022 budget, most universities will not recruit nor replace.

It also depends who is helping you to get in.

FIRS is yet to issue letters

My dad knows the senator heading finance committee and he asked me to give his SA my cv a few weeks ago. I gave him my cv and I am part of those the senator promised a slot. I even asked the SA yesterday and he said FIRS yet to bring the appointment letters to them. With the rumors I’m seeing on this thread is it possible that he’s lying or saying the truth. Please no one should message me. I don’t have the necessary information you need. I’m just curious as to what is going on
