Once it's about the Nigerian Army, just forget it! They can do anything to please the government in power. Zero professionalism. Since toppling of government was phased out, the military has been involving themselves in politics by flirting with any government in power. Meanwhile, the Roach is still getting crazy.

PurplePatch:Regardless of the budding talent in Iwobi, I don't think he's up there with the 5 best African players at the world cup. Iwobi needs consistency in his game for club and country to be rated among the best 5. Perhaps in the next tournament he will have become ready for that next level. |
Agbgift:In our next generation, may be. |

A Yola High Court Presided over by Justice Abdul-Azeez Waziri has sentenced five men to death for culpable homicide and for killing a herdsman. The convicts, Alex Amos, Alheri Phanuel, Holy Boniface, Jerry Gideon and Jari Sabagi of Demsa Local Government Area of Adamawa State, were found guilty of criminal conspiracy and culpable homicide which contravened Section 96 (1) (a) and Sections 79 and 221 (b) of the Penal Code of Laws of Adamawa State, 1997. The convicts were said to have on June 1, 2017 at Kadamun village in Demsa local Government Area willfully and intentionally conspired and attacked three herdsmen rearing cattle, killing one of them, Adamu Buba, whose body they threw into a river and also maimed several cows. Justice Waziri said the case against the accused persons had been proved beyond reasonable doubt by the counsel to the state, Mr. Salihu Mohammed. He ruled: “I hereby sentence the accused persons on counts one and two to death by hanging, while on counts four and five, I sentence the accused to three years in prison to run concurrently. “Any aggrieved party is at liberty to file an appeal to the Court of Appeal, Yola Judicial Division within 90 days from today.” Read more at: https://www.vanguardngr.com/2018/06/yola-court-passes-death-sentence-5-men-killing-herdsman/ |
Few weeks after a former Taraba governor, Jolly Nyame, was jailed 14 years for fraud, the Federal Capital Territory High Court has found former Plateau State governor, Joshua Dariye, guilty of fraud. Dariye was charged for allegedly diverting N1. 161.9 billion while he served as governor of the North-central state. He was brought to court on a 23-count charge for the alleged offence by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC in 2007. Although Dariye’s lawyer, Kanu Agabi, questioned the authenticity of evidence adduced in court against his client, the court said the evidences clearly indicate a case of diversion. The judge, Adebukola Banjoko, found him guilty of diverting funds to the Peoples Democratic Party in the state among other groups. Mrs Banjoko who was still reading the judgement at the time of this report found Mr Dariye guilty of counts 1, 2, 4, and 7. The counts relate to the diversion of N80 million to the PDP, N100 million to a company, Marine flow and other sums through the All State Bank. Archives are mainly for keeping records of events, important state/government publications like gazettes, maps, treaties, etc. while libraries are mainly places where books are are kept for studying. Archives are often not accessible to the public except you have a particular material in mind that you are looking for. Libraries on the other hand are open to the public and you can actually go there before deciding what books you want to read. Archives are not a place you can take your own books to and read unlike the libraries where you can take your own books to read. Archives are not places where you go to study, but the libraries are. |

Government of disobedience. President disobeys Court orders, president disobeys resolutions of the national assembly; national assembly leadership disobeys party's position on issues, Presidency disregards Senate's rejection of nominees, Ministers and head of public institutions disobey and disregard invitation of the senate, police IG disobeys presidential orders, wife disobeys president, minister disobeys president, etc. Let the disobedience continue going round.

The popular sport site goal.com, has referred to Lagos as the capital of Nigeria. This came whilst the site was dealing with the news that the official jerseys of the Nigerian contingent to the world cup had sold out within a short time of its official launch in the NIKE online store. Goal.com wrote: "Nigeria may not be favourites to win the World Cup this summer but their new kits have won over football fans. "The official home and away strips for Russia 2018 reportedly sold out within three minutes of going on sale on Nike's online store on Friday, while people were seen queuing outside a flagship Oxford Street shop in London. "Three million shirts were said to have been pre-ordered, while non-official copies have been in huge demand in the country's capital Lagos this week."
