Christianity EtcRe: I Saw Notorious B.I.G. In Hell by Powerbandooo: 9:26am On May 09
RadiantGlow:
Hello Nairalanders,

I came across this incredibly powerful testimony that I felt a strong conviction to share with everyone here. It is an interview with a woman named Queen Okeoma, who shares her supernatural encounters with both Heaven and Hell.

In this video, she describes being taken by the Lord to the gates of Hell. Most shockingly, she recounts seeing the late rapper The Notorious B.I.G. (Biggie Smalls) in a place of torment. She explains that the Lord revealed to her why he was there—not just because of his lifestyle, but because he had told God he didn't need Him and had relied on charms from fetish priests for his fame.

Beyond the mention of Biggie, Queen shares:

The Reality of Hell: She describes the intense heat, the "alive" darkness, and the specific torments of those who lived in sin or held onto unforgiveness.

A Glimpse of Heaven: She speaks of the overwhelming love and beauty she experienced when she was allowed to see her parents' dwellings and touch the feet of Jesus.

The Power of Forgiveness: A terrifying moment where a heart attack almost took her to Hell because she hadn't truly forgiven her husband in her heart, despite thinking she had.

Why I am posting this: I believe God wants to use this testimony to touch people's hearts. It is a wake-up call for all of us. Life is short, and eternity is forever. I pray that as you watch this, God gives you the grace to examine your life, let go of bitterness, and accept Jesus Christ into your heart as your Lord and Savior. He loves us so much that He continues to give us these warnings so that none should perish.

Watch the full testimony here:

May the Lord open our eyes and give us the strength to walk the path of holiness. God bless you all.

Technology MarketRe: Solar Panels During Rainy Season? by Powerbandooo: 9:28am On May 07
peterpowercool:
Many people think solar panels become useless once the rainy season starts.

That’s one of the biggest misconceptions about solar energy.

Solar panels do not actually need direct sunlight to generate electricity. What they need is light, not heat.

Even on cloudy or rainy days, solar panels still absorb diffuse sunlight from the sky and continue producing power, though at a lower efficiency compared to bright sunny conditions.

In fact, some solar panels perform better in cooler temperatures because excessive heat can slightly reduce panel efficiency.

This is why countries with less sunlight than Nigeria, including places with long winters and frequent cloudy weather still use solar energy successfully.

Of course, output drops during heavy rain or thick cloud cover, which is why battery storage is important in a proper solar setup. Batteries help store excess power generated during sunny periods for use later at night or during poor weather conditions.

So no, solar panels don’t suddenly “stop working” because clouds appear.

The real issue is usually poor system sizing, weak batteries, cheap inverters, or unrealistic expectations not the weather itself.

If designed properly, a solar system can still provide reliable electricity during rainy seasons.

What’s your experience with solar during cloudy weather?

Now I rarely play bet
Maybe when money has become excess, I bet small money, but I rarely play bet again

It may not be addiction, Nigeria is tough, everybody is trying various means to enter the status quo

RomanceRe: The Virginity Question - A Truth Most Men Are Afraid To Discuss by Powerbandooo: 6:34am On May 04
marcusverum:
When a woman marries as a virgin it benefits both her and her husband.

She has no comparison. She has no craving rooted in memory. Her loyalty is not divided by experience.

As a man you have a choice. You can seek a woman you can build with from a clean foundation. Or you can seek a woman who comes with history and start wondering why peace is hard to find at home.

This is not about judging women. It is about understanding what you are choosing and accepting the full weight of that choice. There is no neutral ground. Every decision has a consequence.

It is supposed to be value in exchange for value. Aura for aura.

Does a woman's past affect her ability to be a loyal wife?
Once a woman is virgin, so she can't cheat in marriage, you never see stubborn virgin wey go choke you till depression for marriage,
Once a woman is taste sex, craving go come from another person, once he is tired of you in marriage, but Dem no get mind do am, if opportunity trigger, you go know sey wetin you write up there na nonsense

BusinessRe: Is ₦100k Salary Still Enough To Survive In Nigeria? by Powerbandooo: 2:09pm On May 01
Flesh10:
There is a big difference between doing well and struggling to survive each month.

When you say a family of 4 with an earning of 300k per month is doing well, how did you mean?

Is Lagos state included in that conclusion?

I understand that yes there are families surviving on less than 100k a month but that does not mean that they are doing well and it also applies to a family surviving on 300k.

Let's break it down. I am specific about Lagos only. Other states are not in my argument.

A family of 4 (father, mother, 2 kids)

Earning 300k.

Let's assume they live in a room and parlour (mini flat).

In Lagos the jobs are situated in places like Lekki, ajah, ikoyi, VI, Ikeja, Surulere, yaba and Apapa..... Getting a good job outside these axis is rare...

Accomodation for a mini flat in those axis is out of the question because definitely the family earning 300k monthly cannot afford it so we will assume they live outside that area.

Let's say he works in Ikeja and lives in Egbeda.

A mini flat the cheapest ones in Egbeda now cost 1.2m (that's cheap ones oooo) but let me be nice and easy 800k

To save up for rent he needs to save N67,000 every blessed month for one year from his salary.

So if N67k leaves his account every month that's N233,000 left.

Transport from Egbeda to Ikeja everyday to and fro will take 2k daily from him

Egbeda to Ikeja N500 coming... Then maybe keke to his office like Allen or Toying additional N300

Coming back trust Lagos your fare has doubled. So Tfair to be nice 2k daily

That's about 50k monthly for 25days of work.

We have N183,000 left from that salary.

Upkeep for a family of 4 let's assume 100k monthly. He has 83k left

Other bills to pay

Nepa bill
Recharge cards
Children school fees which comes every 3months (meaning 3 times in a year he will have nothing to save)

We assume nobody falls sick
No emergency.

He doesn't even eat anything at work all year and everything goes as planned for his strict finances.

My brother you've seen the breakdown despite how hard I tried to give unrealistic prices in Lagos especially with accomodation.

A family of 4 surviving on 300k monthly is not doing well but barely surviving
Maybe for you guys in Lagos
Here in osun state, there is a university lecturer who is a family man earning with 200 to 300k, and is still leaving average ok, drives a car with 2 teenager kid, moderately doing fine,
I am saying this because I have seen many
May be Lagos should be excluded

Mrlegent11:
Is 100k Salary Still Enough to Survive in Nigeria? Be Honest

Let’s be real with ourselves—can ₦100k still take you through a full month in Nigeria today?

After rent, transport, food, data, and other small expenses, what is really left? In cities like Lagos or Abuja, ₦100k can disappear in just a few weeks if you’re not careful.

Some people will say it’s possible if you live a very strict lifestyle—manage your feeding, avoid unnecessary spending, and maybe stay with family to reduce rent. But for someone paying rent, handling bills alone, and still trying to save something, it’s honestly very difficult.

Prices of food, transport, and basic needs keep increasing, but salaries are not moving at the same pace. That’s why many people now depend on side hustles just to survive.

So let’s talk:

If you earn ₦100k monthly, how are you managing it?
Are you able to save anything at all?
Or do you think ₦100k is no longer realistic in today’s Nigeria?

Be honest—your experience might help someone here.
Let us be realistic, It is enough to live life well as a single guy, not married
Sometimes I will see nonsense writeup that someone who is making 500k as a family man is not enough,
The truth is where we will use see a job of 500k in Nigeria
This is Nigeria, anybody that is making 300k with a family of 4 or less is doing well, we should not let anybody pressure you

So for the 100k salary for a single guy it is fairly enough to live life managely well
Any writeup that will counter what I am saying is nonsense
Rent is paid every year, not something you pay daily

FoodRe: How I Conquered And 'Pepper-Souped' A Big Cat In Our Compound (Pics) by Powerbandooo: 7:20pm On Apr 12
omikel:
Good day Nairalander,
I will be brief with my story of how I conquered one of the cats that have been terrorizing us for years in our compound. On this beautiful but hot evening, I wanted to go have my shower at the tap outside with the hope to cool my body temperature.
I felt something moved fast towards one edge of the boys quarter, my instinct doesn't deceive me, IT IS ONE OF THOSE UNCULTURED CAT that used to make irritating noise while mating behind our fence. I wouldn't know if they usually come from different places to have their usual DO THE DO at our backyard. I took no offence for them doing that because nature can not be cheated. But the problem is the noise at the wee hour of the night when one is supposed to be deep in sleep.
They will make different kind of Moaning like human and at times cry like a toddler whose biscuit was snatched by his elderly one, I don't know if anyone has had the kind of experience I am trying to narrate here.
But one of them ran into the hands of an angry man who the current situation on ground has made more angrier, like the yoruba will say "Ajá tó yó, kìí bá aiyo seré"
Na so I retreived back to my room to pick up my self defense tool any day (a matchet).
I tip-toed back and lay still in the dark with my touch light on the left hand and my thumb on its switch. Cats are very sensitive and can see in the dark like tomorrow no dey, but na luck help me kill am this day "Oluwa lo funmi pa* 😁😁😁
Immediately I heard some movement again, my thumb was the first action taker on the switch of my Torchlight, gboa! Light everywhere, the cat's eye self is another version of Torchlight on me. But I summoned courage, it is either you die today or you escape and never come back to this vicinity.
We entered battle, I pursued the 'were' to one end where there is no escape route except through where I was standing with my Torchlight beaming at it and it was gazing at me also. Who will make the first move?
I tricked it into believing I am tired, within a twinkle of an eye, I blinked the light by tapping the switch pim pim the mad cat want to run out of its enclave na so I matchetted it like a criminal who is about to steal phone through the window.
But to be sincere, the thing get power, with that one hit, I thought it will be dead, rather it make one hunch back style of defense, na so I woos am the second time before it succumb to weakness and finally third hit made it surrender to alumuntu.
Congrat, you just kill somebody grandmother
